I found this place near the Independence Palace and the well-known restaurant called "Ngon" on Pasteur Street, right in the heart of District 1. The spa is clean, and the staff are highly skilled. The receptionist also gave me a warm welcome. If you're visiting historical sites in District 1, you can stop by that restaurant when you get hungry, then finish your day with a relaxing massage at this spa. I’ll come back for the full body massage and hair wash combo before heading to the airport for my flight home.

A flyer was handed to us in the afternoon while my family of four was visiting the Independence Palace. We decided to book a massage that same evening. We all chose the 90-minute body massage. The staff also introduced a combo with an extra 30-minute facial and a meal included, but the men in my family only wanted the body massage, and we had already had dinner. We were taken to a spacious room with five massage beds. The massage outfit had buttons at the back, which was perfect for women who prefer modest attire during the session—the therapist only unbuttons it when massaging the back. The ambiance was elegant, the place was new, clean, and had a refreshing lemongrass scent. Since it was Shinrin’s grand opening, our family received a 30% discount on the total bill—an amazing deal!

I had a great experience at Shinrin Spa. The front desk staff were very kind and attentive — they took time to understand my needs before recommending a treatment. Since I’m quite sensitive to essential oils, they suggested the no-oil massage with Thai-style stretching, which worked perfectly for me. The spa space is clean, new, and beautifully designed. I especially loved the natural scent in the lobby — very calming. During the treatment, the therapist was caring and constantly checked in to make sure I was comfortable. Their technique was truly impressive. The package I chose also included a light meal set, and they kindly offered to let me watch entertainment videos during the foot massage. To my surprise, I also received a special Shinrin tote bag as a gift — such a lovely touch! Overall, it was a very thoughtful and refreshing experience — definitely worth trying.

Beyond expectations. The spa stays open quite late, which is perfect for travelers. The facility is clean, and the staff are enthusiastic. The therapists’ skills are definitely worth experiencing!

We were staying in D1 and decided a massage would help relieve some travel fatigue. Shinrin was highly rated, so we booked the VIP 1 treatment. The appointment was made through Klook and confirmed within 30 minutes for same-day booking. Upon arrival, we were offered water and asked to complete a short questionnaire about pressure preferences, focus areas, and skin sensitivities (since the package includes a 30-minute facial). We then changed on the 2nd floor, used the steam sauna on the 3rd floor for about 15 minutes, rinsed off, and returned for a foot bath followed by a 90-minute ginger oil massage with hot stones and 30 minutes facial. During the foot bath, we were offered snacks and fruits. One small suggestion: eating during the foot bath may not be ideal before a massage, and the room was quite dark—I accidentally ate a very spicy chili. That aside, the experience was well organized, relaxing, and enjoyable.

The staff will ask if you want to watch a movie during the foot massage, and they will play it for you.There was also a free steam session, which made me feel completely refreshed. To my surprise, I even received a free ticket for a night tour of HCM on a double-decker bus. What a great deal! I honestly feel like I got way more than I paid for. If you're in Ho Chi Minh City, come here now—I don’t think this promotion will last long!

The therapist was very professional and helped relieve the tension in my shoulders and back – exactly what I needed after a long flight. The complimentary steam sauna before the massage helped my body fully relax. Additionally, the spa offers a 100,000 VND voucher for the next visit or a double-decker bus ticket, which is a great idea for tourists! The price is quite affordable compared to other places in District 1, and I will definitely recommend Shinrin to my friends visiting HCM city.
