It was all worth it. You learn from all the things you see in the museum. Reality hits you hard when you realize the depth of what the war damaged and its casualties. Translation mobiles are available for rent that helps you grasp more what is exhibited. There are souvenirs on the ground floor and a museum cafe outside the building.

Our visit to the War Remnants Museum was a deeply moving and informative experience. Seeing the gruesome reality of the history the Vietnamese people endured is incredibly heavy and emotionally draining, but so important to witness. Since it was a Sunday, it was quite crowded, so I was glad we booked through Klook—it made entry very convenient. A must-visit for anyone wanting to truly understand the country's past.

Fundat el 4 de setembre de 1975, el Museu dels Vestigis de la Guerra és membre de la Xarxa Internacional de Museus per la Pau (INMP) i del Consell Internacional de Museus (ICOM).

És l'únic museu al Vietnam que estudia, recull, conserva i exposa sistemàticament objectes sobre crims de guerra i les conseqüències infligides al poble vietnamita per forces agressives estrangeres. Al mateix temps, el Museu fa una crida a tothom per oposar-se a les guerres injustes, preservar la pau mundial, promoure l'amistat i la solidaritat entre les nacions.

El Museu compta amb 9 exposicions temàtiques permanents i diverses col·leccions especials.
