There are subtitles during the show but it can still be a bit hard to follow especially if you are seated right in front (screens are at the side so you need to turn you head to look at the subtitles). Overall, still a good experience seeing Peking opera, an ancient Chinese art form, in person. Pro-tip: Doors open at 6.45pm for the 7.30pm show. Go early so you can get your choice of seats in the zone you bought.

非常有趣的一次中國傳統文化體驗！表演辦在前門建國酒店的梨園劇場內，晚上7點半開始，要提前30分鐘到，表演大概9點前結束，一共表演了3個劇目。

不用怕聽不懂演員在唱什麼，因為兩邊都有中英文字幕，提早到現場還能看到演員化妝，真是很原汁原味的北京體驗！現場也有真人樂器演出、演員的身段和歌聲都厲害，是來北京非常值得體驗的傳統國粹！

I was first worried becuase of some reviews that the staffs do not know about the klook booking system and are not able to communicate in english. However, it turned out that they already prepared tickets for the reserved guests and are proficient in english. The only downside is that it is a bit hard to find the box office, but you can simply ask the doorman about the office. Had fun here.

很酷的體驗！親眼看到京劇特技表演及親耳聽到現場唱歌及現場演奏，真的佩服演員的真功夫，雖然票價比較貴，但坐在VVIP席體驗很值得！還能看到著名的霸王別姬這一齣，真是太棒了！

It's a great performance to discover Bijing opera. The play has some traits of humour, dance and acrobatic performance.

Really enjoyed the show but it only lasted about an hour and 20 mins so is a bit pricey. I enjoyed the snacks and jasmine tea at our table and the theatre was very large and impressive. The performers were really good, with a live band and subtitles to understand what was going on. It was easy to find the venue and you just go to a room where they see your booking and issue you a physical ticket. The theatre was massive and wasn't full so you could probably book at late notice.
