Visita a peu al Museu dels Records de la Guerra i al Palau de la Independència

We visited the Independence Palace and War Remnants Museum with our guide Kevin. Both are fascinating and, in our view, must-sees in Ho Chi Minh City. The Independence Palace offers a fascinating insight into the Vietnam War, with its historic meeting and banquet rooms, communications rooms and underground bunker, as well as great views over the city. The War Remnants Museum, just a short walk away, is extremely powerful and visual, showing the devastating effects of war and the suffering and resistance of the Vietnamese people. Kevin was knowledgeable and flexible, allowing us time for drinks and snacks, which made the tour work very well even with a young child. Highly recommended.

Koi is the best tour guide ever!!! He was so knowledgeable about the history of Vietnam War yet he made it really very easy to understand for me. 😄 He was really passionate about what he was doing! We got to roam around the museum with all the parts, photos and exhibits, explained by Koi well to me.

I would like to give a 5-star review for my tour guide Cyta for doing a job well done. Cyta was highly knowledgeable and passionate in sharing her country’s history specially during the Vietnam/American War. I am very fortunate to have a one-on-one tour with her because we were able to take our time together and she was able to answer all of my questions. Her great sense of nationalism is something I admire and I’ll never forget. Overall these 2 attractions (Independence Palace and War Remnants) should be on top of your bucket list. A truly eye-opening experience to hear from a local share their point of view of the historic war in Vietnam.

our tour guide was Miss Lucky for the day. she is well knowledgeable on the history for the palace of independence. she explain to us all the history and also places inside. took us to the war museum and show us around as well. told us if we have any question, we can ask her. even let us know where to have local foods. thumbs up and well done to her. recommended tour with her.

Our guide Stephanie is very knowledgeable and passionate about the history. The Independent Palace is huge and the War Remnant Museum reminds us war is never a good thing. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour!

Our guide Cyta was phenomenal! She gave us a tour of Independence Palace and War Remnants Museum. We enjoyed the private tour and had her all to ourselves. She patiently answered all of my dad’s questions and we learned so much about Vietnam, the war, culture and the present day Vietnam way of life. the tour took 4 hours in total. in case you have seniors doing this tour with you, i suggest going to the independence palace with a private tour. and then you may roam around War Remnants Museum at your own time on a different day.

Cyta was an excellent host. I was able to learn more about the history of Vietnam and the effects of the war to their country. Informative but still enjoyable!
