Great location to access to biking, boating and restaurants. Well run and very helpful owner. Don’t miss out the sun rise bike ride guide tour. It’s one of the kinds. The lake, mountains and morning mist is the world class.

Very clean and spacious. Nice staff! We only wish the breakfast was a little more Western friendly and the staff more helpful in terms of tourism activities. The hotel also got loud around 7:20am every morning.

This is the first time we stayed in a 民宿 in Taiwan and we are glad that we made a good choice。 Laurel Villa is a well designed and well managed facility for travelers to get a good night sleep。 We enjoyed friendly reception once entering the 民宿. The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent with many varieties of tasty Taiwanese dishes. We especially appreciated the sunrise bike tour led by the owner, Mr. Wang, who is very knowledgeable about the history, geology, and ecology of Sun Moon Lake. He guided us to the best places for sunrise photography along bike paths of the lake.
My whole family including two grandkids enjoyed his warm hospitality during our two-day stay at Laurel Villa during Christmas HOLIDAYs.
