Just returned from a half day trip to see the pandas in Beijing Zoo and then the summer palace. Both May (our guide) and our driver were exceptional. We went as a family of four and May pitched the delivery perfectly to balance both the needs of the children and adults in the group. We opted to add the boat ride at Kunming Lake and it was a great decision, would highly recommend. I wouldn’t hesitate booking any other experience with May again!

Our tour guide, Mr. Liu, was enthusiastic, friendly, and attentive, taking excellent care of both adults and children. The itinerary was well-planned, allowing us to comfortably explore various parts of Beijing. We hope to visit Beijing again in the future. Thank you very much.

I would like to share my experience. it’s as simple as it can be. book and select the morning slot or afternoon slot. if you choose the morning slot, you can enter anytime from 8am to 12pm. if you book the afternoon slot, you cannot enter earlier. The attendants at the gate will ask you to return later. And entering the place was as easy with just bringing your passport. but be careful when you book in Klook. you must enter your passport number correctly. someone got an alphabet wrong and the scanning could not detect. the person was asked to contact the source to get the alphabet corrected. I didn’t stay to witness what happened, but I later saw that person inside, so I guess it must have been settled. also, I booked with the treasure gallery, which is a must if you want to visit the Zhen consort well. it is inside the treasure gallery.

If you’re heading to Beijing, you have to do the Imperial Feast. The whole setup - red and gold decor, ancient architecture, traditional music - feels like stepping straight onto a historical drama set. The best part? You can get fully styled in traditional Hanfu gear and makeup before eating. Walking into the dining hall in full costume while live dance and instrument performances play right in front of your table makes the whole night so much fun. The food is delicious, beautifully presented, and served course-by-course with royal court etiquette. Plus, if you’re celebrating a birthday, the staff go out of their way to make a huge, special deal out of it! It’s way more than just dinner - it’s an entire cultural experience. 100% worth it!

It's beautiful inside, and they offer free incense. You don't have to pay anything. As you walk, there are ginkgo trees on both sides of the path, tall and providing shade from the sun. I also saw a Buddha statue carved from a single piece of wood.
