Kitakyushu

We spotted tour guide Nana's flag first thing in the morning. She was sweet and extremely dedicated, and she didn't waste any time talking when it was time for us to rest and catch up on sleep! Her Mandarin and English were both fluent, so there were zero communication barriers. Since I easily get motion sick, I had added a note requesting a front-seat before joining the tour, and they saved a seat for me. The scenery along the entire way was truly gorgeous, and everywhere we went had a wonderful, comfortable energy. Because we joined the Takachiho Gorge boating activity, our schedule required precise timing. As soon as we arrived at Takachiho Gorge, Nana gave instructions on the meeting time and place for those not boating, and then rushed forward with the nine of us who were participating in the boating activity! It turns out that boating time is limited, and failing to return within the designated time results in extra fees charged by the boat rental shop! The boats are not the easiest to steer, but it is a lot of fun. I highly recommend trying it out if you aren't traveling with very young children or elderly family members—since you're already there, you might as well! I highly recommend this tour and am very grateful to our guide, Nana, for giving us such a wonderful day! By the way, the mango shaved ice has very poor value for the money, so skip it! The soft-serve ice cream should be worth a try, though!

Overall, the trip was good, but I wish we had more time to explore Mojiko. Since it was a weekend, Mount Sarakura was very crowded, with long queues. Unfortunately, we missed the sunset and reached the top when it was already dark, windy and freezing cold, so there wasn’t much to see. Our tour guide, Robin, was very nice and attentive and took good care of everyone throughout the trip.

Traveling with the tour was very convenient. The guide took good care of us and provided great recommendations, allowing us to visit a variety of places in just one day. For those who prefer not to rent a car and drive, having 2 hours at the Takachiho Gorge, including the round-trip walk, was more than enough time. In the afternoon, we visited Mt. Aso. Even though the crater was closed, we were able to see the views up close at two different spots. Kusasenri offered beautiful scenery, though 1 hour might be a bit tight for sightseeing, having a meal, and shopping for souvenirs. Overall, it was a very worthwhile and convenient experience with everything covered, including a stop at a service area along the way.

this tour is probably one of my favorite. the observatory deck, the cave, the bridge! it’s full of itineraries! highly recommended! thank you to our tour guide Seki! She’s the best! Very entertaining, Seki explained everything in all languages!

It was a truly impressive trip. I was the only English speaker, but the guide. Zhu Zhu, took good care of me, ensuring I fully understood everything about the tour. The experience far exceeded my expectations.

Although this day tour only has 3 attractions, each of them has its own unique features and is well worth a visit. The sushi at Karato Market was fresh and delicious; we didn't go to the most famous shop because the queue was simply too long, but just randomly picked a nearby one and were already very satisfied, especially the fatty tuna, which melted in your mouth! We tried the pufferfish sashimi, which wasn't anything special. The rows of red torii gates at Motonosumi Shrine, paired with the blue sky, white clouds, and the endless sea, made me subconsciously take dozens of photos! Mount Sarakura at dusk and as the night lights begin to glow is truly enchanting! It's very suitable for photography enthusiasts, just make sure to reserve enough time for the round-trip cable car. The tour guide, Mr. Cheung, was very attentive; he always clearly stated the meeting times and reminded everyone when it was a good time to use the restroom. Explaining the itinerary and background information of the attractions along the way in English, Mandarin, and Japanese was effortless for him, definitely deserving of praise!

the tour is suggested to first timers as the places visited are awesomely popular and interesting. the guide Helen was extremely nice and sweet for giving us something after the tour. A must booked tour for you out there interested in Fukuoka or Japan culture and histry.

This is my first time join local tour. I have good experience on that. Because tour guides very nice, explain very clearly and detail on our tour. And always update and remind us important information through what app, pay attention on her customer service. I’m appreciate on her guide in this trip, I’m very enjoyable and very happy! This tour was very interesting and nice place for me to visit. I will recommend to everyone:)

আমাদের ট্যুর গাইড সুন নান (孙楠) খুবই বিনয়ী এবং দয়ালু ছিলেন। তিনি আমাদের মোজিকো-তে দিনের ভ্রমণে নিয়ে গিয়েছিলেন এবং মাছের বাজারে ভালো সাশিমি কোথায় পাওয়া যাবে সে সম্পর্কে দারুণ টিপস দিয়েছিলেন। আমরা মাছের বাজার পরিদর্শনের জন্য ছোট নৌকায় চড়েও খুব উপভোগ করেছি। খাবারগুলো তাজা এবং সুস্বাদু ছিল। এরপর আমাদের একটি আউটলেট ডিস্ট্রিক্টে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়েছিল, যেখানে আমরা ভালো দামে অনেক জাপানি ব্র্যান্ডের জিনিস কিনতে পেরেছি এবং একটি বোনাস হিসেবে আল্ট্রাম্যান প্রদর্শনীও দেখতে পেয়েছি, যা বর্তমানে চলছে। সবশেষে, আমরা সাকাকুরায়ামাতে গিয়েছিলাম আমাদের চমৎকার রাতের দৃশ্য দেখার জন্য ক্যাবল ট্যুরে, যা আমাদের দিনের ভ্রমণকে একটি সুন্দর সমাপ্তি দিয়েছে।
