Hôtel très propre et situé à 20 minutes de marche de Kyoto Station. Il se situe à côté de l’aquarium le centre-ville est à environ 20 minutes en bus. L’hôtel offre un accès à un Family Mart à partir de l’intérieur ce qui était très pratique!

The room was really clean, Wi-Fi was great. Having the Family Mart Next door was amazing. The AC was the only downside because it didn’t get very cool in the room. But the rest of the stuff still made the stay amazing

I would definitely stay here again! We stayed here with our small son for 10 days as our base for exploring Kyoto and the surrounding areas, and it was the perfect place to stay with a kid. Right outside the hotel is a playgroud and garden, and just a 4 minute walk away is an aquarium in one direction and a train museum in the other. These are all great kid options for more restful days or rainy days. Every weekend when we visited in June had a small festival in the park, too! On top of that, you're a short walk, maybe 4-5 minutes, from convenient buses and restaurants. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, has a convenience store on the bottom floor, onsens, washer/dryer machines, and very helpful staff. A couple of tips: 1) Japanese washer/dryers are small. They will wash and dry 3kg of clothes intwo hours. Don't bother putting more in; they will take forever to dry. We tried once, and it took 5 hours to drive, for a total of 7 hours to wash and dry. We got in the habit of washing a day's worth of clothes for our family of 3, and that was perfect. It's the amount that fits in the plastic onsen purse that's in your room. The machine only takes 100 yen coins. 2) The beds are really hard, and I had trouble sleeping at first. I asked for extra blankets and made a mattress topper of sorts, which helped. Even with the beds being less than ideal for me, I would still stay here again.

Staff were very helpful and attentive, there was always someone manning the desk. The triple room was a good size for our party (3 adult, 2 kids). The breakfast was great and started early (6:30) which was perfect for us wanting to get out before the tour crowds. The location was perfect, just 2 minute walk from JR station Umekoji-Kyotonishi to get a quick ride to Kyoto station, or go the opposite direction for Arashiyama. With a family Mart and Starbucks just outside its hard to find a better option for less that $120 a night. If I had to plan this vacation over I would base our entire Kansai leg out of this hotel and do day trips everywhere else.

Great hotel, very convenient location, short train ride and walk from Kyoto station. 10/10 would stay again.

I would recommend this property the location was great and very close to the train station which is accessible to majority of the tourist spot. The staff were very accommodating and helpful excellent service.

The hotel was very nice. We really appreciated the amenities. Rooms were spacious and comfortable - we booked 3 rooms. Conveniently located near train station.

Incredible stay - staff was very helpful and accommodating. - Great location - rooms and views were beautiful...cant say enough about this place Would stay here again and again. Compared to our last stay @ The Mark Grand Hotel (which was terrible)this was a godsend and saved our vacation...Just wished we booked more days @ The Royal Park Hotel Kyoto, instead of The Mark Grand

Good location right off train stop and lots of kids fun within 2 minute walk. Off the beaten path a bit from all the crazy Kyoto tourist spots and the much busier main train station. Train museum my 5 year old loved!
