It is ok but not really nice hotel

It was a great hotel. It is close to Shinagawa station, clean, and great staff. Only problem was it was all uphill to get there and was kind of hard to get there with big luggages.

Classic discount hotel mostly filled with locals who were doing something in Tokyo and not making it home on a Friday night. There is English here and English speaking staff but this is a JAPANESE hotel and if you're not ok with things like Japanese-labeled switches in the room (they're for the bathroom fan) or unclear buffet procedures, maybe stay at a Marriott. If you're OK with actually looking at how other people are doing things and not insisting that it be just like a Days Inn in Akron, you'll be able to appreciate the clean but tiny rooms, the very solid breakfast (don't miss the curry by the rice), the 15 minute walk to Shinagawa station, and the sub $100 a night bill! For the price, this was aces.

The hotel was conveniently located near the Tokyo Monorail, which suited me because I wanted a hotel accessible to the airport without being at the airport, but also close accessible to Ginza, Shibuya and Odaiba. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Monorail station, but it might be a bit confusing the first time since the route goes through a small shopping complex. However, the hotel is typical of a Toyoko Inn. Amenities are self-serve, the room is pretty much the same size and layout as other Toyoko Inns, and there is a good breakfast. The property is clean and wifi is good. Staff are friendly and the facilities are modern. The breakfast was good but it is busy around 8am when everyone goes at the same time. There is only one line and it might take 5-10 minutes to get through the line. Breakfast was available until 9 and coffee and tea was available until 10. Luggage storage was also self serve, which I appreciated. Good stay and would certainly consider this property the next time I visit Tokyo.

Amazing hotel

The room was clean, the water pressure was great, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was substantial, and the shuttle to the local train station was super convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful as well.
