This was our third time to stay at Grand Nikko in three years and we noticed a decline in quality over this time period. We like the hotel for its large rooms and proximity to the train and shopping, but felt that on this trip, the quality of the hotel detracted from the other conveniences. The linens and towels feel tired and dingy and the rooms, while clean, felt in need of some refreshing. We booked the Premium Floor and were also disappointed by the noise from neighbors next to us and on the floor above us, which we realize is not entirely in the hotel's control, but felt that the decline in quality of the hotel may be a sign of an overall mediocre experience. When we called the Concierge to report the loud noises from the room above, he abruptly told us to call the Front Desk; didn't offer to transfer the call, didn't acknowledge the problem, just said "call the Front Desk". We are unlikely to stay at this hotel again on our next trip to Tokyo.

It was a nice hotel. I paid £600+ for a deluxe triple room. Didn't feel deluxe (and was on the regular floor). Despite the high price it amazed me when I went to use the pool and they asked for additional charges! Really? When you market your hotel as having a pool you expect that guests will have access to the facilities. Will not recommend nor return. There are much better hotel options and I won't make the same mistake. Avoid this hotel.

The pool isn’t included in the stay! You have to pay a pretty high extra fee, or be an executive member, per day per person for use of the pool. Front desk staff was arrogant when explaining that we don’t get access to the pool, but otherwise they were helpful. Breakfast has options but the garden cafe one wasn’t too good. Lack of options and hotel is maze like. Clean room and beautiful view, though.

A fantastic place with everything well-thought out and professionally maintained. The bus stop to one of the main train stations was right outside and convenient. The staff were all well-trained and hospitable. The breakfast was excellent. The 25m-swimming pool and its adjacent sauna/bath facilities were wonderful. Truly a gorgeous experience. Thank you very much.

The Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba is a great hotel! Te rooms are clean, elegant, and very large compared to other hotels in Japan. The hotel is next to a train station and within walking distance to two malls, so you will be close to restaurants and shopping. Great for families. To get to the major attractions of Tokyo, you will need to take a train or taxi. They have two pools, which is great in the summer, but you need to pay extra for the rooftop pool.

It is located nearby walking distance, to aqua city which is a shopping mall and diver city next door for food shops. They have cloak which allows you to leave your luggage before checking in so you can explore, this cloak service is free. It is also a short distance to the Tokyo international cruise port, which is a 10 usd charge via taxi. Would recommend. Breakfast is roughly 25 dollars or so per person.

My family recently purchased a vacation property at this hotel in Odaiba for our stays when returning to Japan from the United States. The staff are always polite, professional, and welcoming, and we truly appreciate their excellent service. However, we were disappointed by the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel. The elevator light covers were covered in dust and appeared not to have been cleaned for a long time. There was also mold in the guest-room shower. During our three-night stay, the bed was made, but the carpet had not been vacuumed and debris remained on the floor. Considering the high cost of staying here, these details should not be overlooked. It seems the hotel may have become less attentive because of the strong demand from international tourists. We sincerely hope management will improve its cleaning and maintenance standards so that the quality matches the hotel’s price and reputation.
