If you enjoy taking photos, you might want to choose just one location, otherwise you'll feel rushed. Alternatively, I'd suggest staying overnight. Our driver was excellent; she drove very smoothly and was extremely polite. A six-hour round trip (three hours each way) must have been tiring for her. I highly recommend visiting Shirakawa-go in both summer and winter; it's truly beautiful.

walking tour is a nice experience. i was able to explore some spots that i am not aware of. my tour guide Ms. Kim is such a nice lady, she is sweet and kind. she is bubbly too, which is i like most.
