I highly recommend booking a group tour for the Izu day trip; every attraction we visited was beautiful, and the experience was excellent. However, the weather is crucial. When I went, it was slightly overcast, so the sea captured from the sightseeing train wasn't as blue, but the scenery along the way was still lovely. My personal favorite was Mount Omuro; it was adorably green, like a matcha pudding. Even though it wasn't a perfectly sunny day, it didn't detract from my experience exploring Mount Omuro. The Cactus Park is diagonally opposite the base of Mount Omuro. Our driver mentioned we could allocate our own time to visit Mount Omuro and the park, but I chose to spend more time at Mount Omuro's attractions and didn't enter the park, so I can't comment on it. The driver arranged for this trip was very punctual and responsible. There were people of different nationalities in the car, and he introduced each attraction to us in both English and Chinese, with very clear directions. The seats in the car were clean and comfortable. Overall, the experience was quite good, so I recommend everyone choose this Izu day trip! I wish you all a pleasant journey and sunny weather!

This trip was in a family setting and together with my niece who loved cappybara. The zoo is very clean and well kept. It is far from Tokyo but this is less crowded. Buying tickets online makes it convenient to enter.

I chose this itinerary because I wanted to spend more time at Kawazu-zakura. Other Kawazu-zakura tours only allowed for less than two hours before leaving. This itinerary also includes the Izu Ocean View Train, and you can start exploring right after getting off the train. If I go to Izu to see Kawazu-zakura again next cherry blossom season, I would still prioritize this itinerary. Also, if you plan to visit on a Japanese holiday, be prepared for crowds. I recommend going on a weekday to avoid some of the congestion.

Mila was our guide and she was amazing! She explained everything clearly and went above and beyond for me. It was a long day but the spots were beautiful if you just wanted a quick day trip/break from Tokyo. I am a solo female traveller also and I thoroughly enjoyed it!!

A travel destination I definitely want to visit again! 1. Mount Omuro - I was a bit disappointed it wasn't lush green yet, but riding the lift up, walking around the crater, and coming back down felt very satisfying. 2. The scenery I saw at Jogasaki Kaigan is unforgettable. The deep water, whose depth is unknown, and the sight of massive rocks shaped by the strong currents. Thanks to our guide, "Olivia," who took such meticulous care of me, I had a wonderful time even though I was traveling alone. Because of "Olivia," I also got to enjoy the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building light show on my way home after the tour.

We had a big bus to a cozy group of about 12 people. The ride was comfortable since the journey was long but we were given breaks at rest stops along the way. The guides took good care of us. The weather was great and we were given enough time to explore Jogasaki coast and Mt Omuro. The latter was foggy at times and taking a walk around the crater felt mystical because of the fog and illusion of low hanging clouds. It was also cooling to walk around which was a good respite from the hot humid summer.

Прекарахме чудесно време на тази еднодневна екскурзия до Ицу! Мястото на срещата беше лесно за намиране, а нашият шофьор говори отличен английски, което направи всичко лесно за разбиране. Той беше и много любезен, особено когато някой имаше нужда от спирка до тоалетната. Въпреки че бяхме разочаровани, че връх Омуро беше затворен, туроператорът ни информира предварително, че няма да бъде достъпен от 15 до 25 юни, което оценихме. Вместо това посетихме зоопарка Ицу Шаботен и той се превърна в един от акцентите на нашето пътуване. Взаимодействието с капибарите беше много забавно и много от животните се разхождаха свободно, което направи изживяването още по-запомнящо се. Крайбрежието Джогасаки беше спиращо дъха, а преминаването през висящия мост Кадоноваки предложи невероятна гледка към океана. Пътуването с крайбрежния влак също беше живописно и релаксиращо. Дори и без връх Омуро, тази екскурзия надмина очакванията ни и е такава, която с удоволствие бих препоръчал.
