Great experience, a little crowded but not unexpected for a limited time event. Other then that the views, aswell as the food was spot on.
even in rain it was still beautiful, we got lucky to see a performance with traditional japanese music and dance in a building while we were there. I loved it, definitely worth visiting
It was much prettier than I expected. The lantern-floating event on the last day was also great. I had purchased tickets in advance, so I was able to enter without waiting too long. I was surprised for a moment because the line was so long, but fortunately it was an on-site reservation line.
It was more crowded than I expected, but it was a rare experience and I enjoyed it. I hope they do it again in the autumn leaves season. I also felt that it would be better if they limited the number of people a little more or divided the admission time into 30 minutes or so so that we could enjoy the view more calmly.
I made a reservation in advance so I was able to enter easily. There were a lot of people, but it was nice to be able to see the lit-up Koishikawa Korakuen, which is something you don't often get to see.
lovely installations and a nice way of seeing the garden in a different light. not all of the garden is available at night keep that in mind. also food trucks available
The view was good and the area was large. However, the projection mapping area was small and the viewing area was also small, so we had to queue up for a while. There were also a few food stalls, and we ate motsu stew. It was raining a little, so the ground was muddy. It might be better to avoid it during heavy rain.
There were quite a lot of visitors in the park, and I almost thought it was a holiday. The pine trees and other trees were solemnly lit up, giving it a natural feel in the city, and it was very tasteful. Personally, I would like to go again if it is held again next year.

Guide

  • The area has been greatly expanded since the last time, and various attractions in the park will be illuminated

  • Enjoy the taste of autumn at the food, drink, and souvenir!
  • Lantern streaming will be held only on Sunday, October 6

Koishikawa Korakuen Garden will hold a “Special Nighttime Opening” for the second time under the title of “Koishikawa Korakuen in the Long Autumn Evening”. The area open to the public has been greatly expanded since last year, when the event was held for the first time, and a fantastic space will be created by lighting up the main spots in the garden such as “Karamon”, “Horaijima”, and “Hitotsumatsu”, projection mapping on “Engetsu Bridge”, and lighting up of Japanese umbrellas. In addition, visitors can enjoy traditional entertainment performances by street performers, light refreshments, and souvenir sales to feel the “liveliness of Edo Castle. We look forward to seeing you at the park.
