Amethyst Luxury Day Cruise: Ha Long Bay with Sung Sot & Ti Top

The views of Ha Long Bay are absolutely stunning. I've been to similar marine karst topography spots like Phang Nga or Krabi, but Ha Long Bay still deeply impressed me. As soon as the boat leaves the harbor, you're greeted by breathtaking scenery, and the further into Ha Long Bay you go, the more magnificent and beautiful the landscape becomes. Although the weather was a bit gloomy when I went, the cloudy scenery was still quite beautiful. The arranged attractions, such as visiting the stalactite caves and kayaking through the grottos, were also very fun. At the same time, the food and service on the boat were excellent. Vietnamese cuisine is just delicious, I enjoyed the lunch very much, and the coffee and drinks I ordered separately were also great. The shuttle service from Hanoi was also good, although the time was early (7:00 AM), requiring an early wake-up call to prepare, it was worth it to get to Ha Long Bay early. Overall, it's a very worthwhile day trip. Also, be aware that dinner is not included, and the shuttle arrives in Hanoi after 9:00 PM, so be sure to buy something to eat at the pier after disembarking (there are many shops and a Starbucks at the pier where you can buy things), so you don't get hungry on the way to Hanoi.

An amazing experience! The Amethyst Cruise was the best choice for this Hanoi trip. Pick-up and drop-off in Hanoi were punctual and thoughtful. We booked the deluxe bus, which had about a dozen people with spacious and comfortable seats. Upon arrival in Ha Long Bay, a guide picked us up from the bus and escorted us to the boat. Each floor was luxurious, with new, clean, and tidy interior facilities. As the cruise ship sailed away from the shore, we went to the top deck to admire the karst landscape on the water, which was so pleasant. Around 11:30, a sumptuous buffet began, lasting about an hour, where we enjoyed the beautiful scenery while eating. Surprise Cave and Ti Top Island were beautiful and relaxing. We also experienced a hand-rowed boat and a speedboat. While on the hand-rowed boat, we encountered a sudden downpour. The boatman frantically rowed us into the cave, which was crowded with hand-rowed boats. Although we were soaked, everyone was still happy. My son and I also went on a speedboat. A special thanks to a handsome guy from Amethyst Cruise who helped us coordinate the speedboat ride. We are so grateful for his hard work! The speedboat sped through the rain, with screams rising and falling, it was so thrilling, and the scenery was so beautiful! The vast sea, the ingenious rocky islands, the rain pouring on our faces, and the guide's humorous introduction made us laugh heartily, an unprecedented experience! Half an hour passed quickly. Back on shore, the Amethyst Cruise staff even held umbrellas to escort us to the cabin and provided towels, clothes-drying equipment, and showers for everyone. The service was impeccable! In the afternoon, various desserts, tea, and coffee were prepared on the deck for a sunset party. The spectacular sea sunset, accompanied by coffee, delicious food, and beautiful music, made everyone sing, dance, and enjoy the wonderful time! I had an incredible day trip on the Ha Long Bay cruise! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and very enjoyable. The food on board was absolutely delicious — a great variety of local Vietnamese dishes, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Every meal felt like a treat, and there was more than enough for everyone. The service on the boat was outstanding. All the crew members were extremely friendly, polite, and always smiling. They made sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. I really appreciated how attentive they were — offering drinks, helping with photos, and checking in on us throughout the trip. What impressed me most was how responsible the staff were at every stop. They always counted carefully and waited until everyone was safely back on board before departing. It made me feel completely safe and well taken care of.

Luon Cave / Kayaking Experience: Take a bamboo boat or kayak through the limestone caves to get up close to the tranquility of the bay. It's very interesting. 3. Ti Top Island: Climb to the mountain top observation deck to enjoy a panoramic view of the thousands of magnificent islands of Halong Bay. The scenery is so beautiful that words can't describe it! High-Quality Meals and Thoughtful Service: • Sumptuous Buffet Lunch: The buffet lunch provided on board is rich in variety, including Asian and European dishes. The fresh seafood is especially delicious, with ample portions and exquisite plating, completely up to the standards of a high-end restaurant. • Excellent Guides and Crew: The staff on board (especially the guides) are very friendly, professional, and enthusiastic. They provided detailed explanations throughout the journey, ensuring that every passenger was taken care of. The service level is first-class, making people feel very honored.

Amazing experience with Amethyst-the interior of the cruise is nice and comfortable.Our guide Rosie and the cruise staff Lily are both warm and welcoming. Weather was lovely and their itinerary is well planned. We got to visit the Song Sut Cave and experience the bamboo boat Food is also fantastic.

The itinerary was well-planned, with time to relax and enjoy the scenery. The activities weren't rushed. After boarding, the tour guide explained the day's itinerary. We had a short break to get acquainted with the surroundings before lunch, which was delicious! They even offered a shrimp peeling service! Our first stop was Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave), where we saw magnificent, natural stalactite caves. It made me realize how amazing nature is. The second stop was Luon Cave, where we took a yacht at our own expense and the included kayaking trip. The views were different and both worth trying. The third stop was Titov Island. The beach is small, but it's nice to take a dip. Walking to the highest point to see Ha Long Bay was really beautiful. I originally had no expectations for a super touristy spot like Ha Long Bay, but it's worth a visit. The boat's facilities were new and the staff were great, which made for an awesome experience! However, any additional purchases and expenses at each stop must be paid in cash, so remember to bring some with you.

Amazing experience with Amethyst. The staff are so welcoming, they make you feel at home within moments of stepping on the cruise. The interiors are plush and comfortable. We had opted for vegetarian Indian food, and it was good. This cruise is also a bit longer than most other day cruises offered here. The itinerary is standard, but I have to reiterate, the staff make it amazing.

the cruise experience was amazing and fun! I was very excited to go on a Halong Bay cruise and decided to book with this cruise line. The guide on the day as well as the staff on the cruise were all lovely and really ensured us as guests really had a great time!
