Florence City Guided Walking Tour with Accademia Option

It was rainy when we went but it actually made the trip more enjoyable as there weren't too many crowds out. The tour guide was very informative and shared great stories about the beautiful city full of history.

I booked the Florence City Guided Tour with Accademia Gallery through Klook. The tour timings shown on Klook were different from the itinerary that Towns of Italy later sent me, which was already confusing. After the city walking tour ended, even the guide was unsure whether I should continue with the group to the Accademia Gallery. Because of the unclear instructions and inconsistent itinerary, I ended up missing my gallery visit altogether. Fortunately, Klook stepped in and processed a refund on my behalf. However, the local operator, Towns of Italy, did not take responsibility for the confusion or offer a satisfactory solution. The city tour itself was enjoyable, but the poor organization, inconsistent information, and lack of coordination from Towns of Italy made for a disappointing experience. I hope they improve their communication so future customers don't encounter the same problem.

It was a pretty substantial two-hour walking tour. It was a time when I could feel the genuine love Florentine locals have for their hometown. It was walkable, there was a lot to see, and the cost was quite reasonable. Overall, I was satisfied.
