Asakusa Kimono Rental Experience (Tokyo / Provided by Rental Kimono First)

They were the sweetest and I wear a 1x and they made accommodations for me. They dressed me and treated me like a queen. The stylist and sensi were so professional and highly skilled. The receptionist was lovely. I loved my hair stylist. She has a beautiful heart. It’s professional, safe, clean and good energy. I highly recommend them. They truly take care of you. I love them, I got so many compliments from everyone at the temple. Thank for making my birthday amazing.

You able to rent upto 6pm. Wore it for a while only as we have a flight to catch. But is a good experience. Will rent again here with more time at our side. The best slot will be the first slot at 9am. Just come slightly early like 10mins before and you can start choosing your kimonos at lvl 2, to go lvl 5 to change after that.

Nice staffs. There will be a bit of waiting time cos’ there is a lot of steps in wearing the kimono but the staffs is very patient and professional. They try their best to be efficient and very respectful. Have a good time there wearing the kimono with my family and take photos around the temple area.

Great experience. The ladies were organized and helpful in terms of options. They dress you up and also do your hair. The hair accessories, footwear, and a small bag are also included in this package.

It's not difficult to find the shop. I found Yoshinoya and went in to take the elevator up to the 5th floor. It was really good. There were many beautiful dresses. I hesitated and couldn't choose a dress. But the staff recommended it very well. There is a set of pictures to look at when choosing. Hair accessories can be picked up at no extra cost. Hair styling is very beautiful. Very skilled and kind staff. Very helpful to me If I come to visit again next time, I will probably come to the same shop again.

me and my daughter decided to have a kimono day and hired a photographer. What we thought would be a rather dull day actually turned out to be the highlight of our Tokyo trip!!! the kimonos were so beautiful and our stylist had made up our hair. the Photographer (ask for maimai) chinese girl , was so friendly and patient- she took us to the nearby temple and told us how to pose . it actually turned out to be a very fun and enjoyable day. the weather was gorgeous as well. She even took us to a nearby park where they were loads of cherry blossoms. I am really glad we took these beautiful photos for future memories !

Very good at doing hair, there are many styles to choose from. The staff is very kind. Hair accessories can be moved without limit. Not adding more (you have to look at the package you chose to reserve) but when you're done, you have to return it to them ❤️ Very impressed. Return the finished set. I don't want to take my hair out at all.

There are a lot of dresses, very beautiful, very good, very impressed. There is a price listed on the clothes rail before picking up. You will know which package you have reserved and what price so you don't get the wrong one. I really like it.
