A perfect trip! Although the hotel is located in a more remote part of Jinwan District, the unbeatable sea view is truly beautiful, especially at sunset when strolling along the seaside promenade is incredibly relaxing! The hotel provided a complimentary upgrade to a sea-view room, and the balcony offered a superb view of the ocean. It was a genuine surprise to even be able to enjoy the sea view while taking a bath! Please note that if you stay for two nights, the complimentary drinks in the mini-fridge will only be refilled after they've been consumed, while towels and toiletries will be replaced with new ones. I chose a two-night package that included two days of breakfast and a set meal worth $200, which was definitely enough for lunch or dinner. There are also other restaurants available within the resort, as well as a convenience store where you can buy various foods, so dining options are not an issue. The accommodation package also included entertainment, allowing unlimited access to Mysterious Island via facial recognition. It features amusement rides, a 5D cinema, go-karts, and surprisingly, even a snow dome! On hot days, paying ¥20 to enter and escape the heat is well worth it! The unpowered amusement park also has many attractions, but I didn't play much due to the intense sun and heat; it might be more suitable during autumn or winter. The animals at the Pet Paradise are quite charming, and some can be held and petted. It was a unique experience to see birds hatching and piglets being herded for the first time! If you visit in the summer, playing in the water is a must. Both the Caribbean Water Park and the hotel pool are good, though crowds are unavoidable, so be prepared. Due to the hot weather, I didn't try the hot springs, so I can't review them, but passing by the hot spring center, it seemed quite substantial. The hotel has a playroom and craft workshops, which children thoroughly enjoyed. The Dream Theater at Fisherman's Wharf is more suitable for middle-aged guests, as it features nostalgic Hong Kong golden oldies, which children might not appreciate. The hotel offers electric shuttle carts every 7-10 minutes, but even walking, you can quickly reach different facilities. Overall, everything was well-executed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's an excellent choice for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.
I'd like to give a special shout-out to the hotel's customer service representative, "Sisi." When I arrived in Zhuhai yesterday, it was pouring rain all day without a break. I had originally purchased a Chimelong Ocean Kingdom package, but due to the rain, I couldn't enjoy any of the outdoor activities. So, I requested to switch to a hot spring package. My Mandarin isn't very good, so I'm incredibly grateful that Sisi helped me handle and follow up on the request! Also, the WeChat customer service from the back office was very efficient; I needed children's amenities, and they were delivered in just 3 minutes! Today, July 30th, there were 4-5 female staff members at the front desk, and they all provided excellent service. Although I don't know their names, I want to commend them all! Furthermore, all the shuttle drivers were fantastic. The shuttles ran very frequently, with a new one arriving every few minutes. All the drivers were very polite and proactively asked us where we wanted to go. Since we weren't familiar with the area, they were very proactive and patient in explaining things to us! I hope the hotel management can reward these drivers; they truly are excellent! Additionally, the hotel's breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, with plenty of fresh food. There were so many options it felt like eating lunch, definitely great value for money!
Confirmation was quick after booking, and the room was spacious enough, already equipped with children's amenities. The pillows and bed provided good support, ensuring a comfortable sleep. There was a tent placed outside the room door, which was a bit amusing; it would have been better inside the room, as parents don't want their children playing outside the door where they can't be seen. Additionally, the hotel does not have laundry facilities. In the playroom next to the lobby, please note that the ball pit isn't very clean; children throw balls out everywhere, and staff simply put them back into the pit. The hot springs, outdoor park, and petting zoo all require facial recognition for entry, which can be set up in the lobby. License plates can also be registered. To reach the hot springs area, go down the stairs to the left of the hotel lobby; it's a short walk. Since the weather was hot, we just played in the water. At the outdoor park, to the right of the entrance, there's a play area suitable for young children, but most attractions are not accessible for those under 3 feet tall. We didn't visit the water play area or the non-powered play area this time because it was too hot. You can order takeout to be delivered to the lobby for self-pickup, but it takes about an hour for delivery, so it's best to place your order on your way back after playing.
I booked a Klook family room, but there were no sheets on the bed, and the only decoration in the entire room was a picture of a cartoon sheep on the wall. It was basically a deluxe room. The hotel front desk said that the Klook family room pictures were incorrect and that if I wanted themed sheets, I should have booked a themed suite. So, if you book a Klook family room, be prepared that it will be similar to a deluxe room. We didn't accept this, and after several negotiations, they finally gave us a room with character-themed sheets. I had emailed the hotel beforehand to say we were celebrating a birthday, but the hotel claimed they hadn't received the email and hadn't prepared anything. They eventually provided a cake later. My experience over the three days and two nights was just average. The theater shows are suitable for older people. The hotel's hygiene was mediocre, with mold in the bathroom. The hot springs were fine, and the area was quite large, but a bit run-down. The playground facilities were decent, and it wasn't crowded, but older children might find it boring; it's more suitable for younger kids. The pet park was somewhat fun for seeing small animals, but the area was small, so we finished quickly. I feel this hotel is positioned for hot spring visits, quick tour groups listening to Cantonese songs, or one-night stays. I wouldn't recommend it for families with children. The location is remote, taxis are difficult to get and expensive, and dining options are inconvenient, with restaurant prices being quite high. I won't be coming back; it's not really worth it.
Arrived at the hotel at 9 PM that night, and the lobby manager quickly arranged our check-in. Auntie A1093 was extremely friendly and helpful, assisting us with connecting to the hotel Wi-Fi since we didn't have Mainland China phone numbers. She used her phone to receive the verification codes and connected all five of our phones to the Wi-Fi. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, tasted good, and the hygiene was excellent. The hotel's shower gel and shampoo were also good. The infinity pool was beautiful and perfect for taking photos. The facilities at Mystery Island are a bit old, but the room rate includes access to many games. The hygiene at Mystery Island's water park was average. Surprisingly, the two most thrilling slides required a height of 150cm to ride. Our children played on the Rainbow Reef slides at Ocean Park last year, but they couldn't play here. On the second night, Manager Cao and Supervisor Huang personally delivered a fruit platter to our room and asked for our feedback on the hotel. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to visit the adorable pet park. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we would visit again if we have the opportunity.
The hotel is very good very new very suitable for children to stay remote location is the only drawback from the city center almost an hour drive beforehand a little accident want to share because the child is sick could not travel as scheduled 5 days ago contacted Klook customer service proposed to transfer to family also called the hotel hotel also said the change of name is no problem
Book a hotel at 10pm the night before departure, received Klook order confirmation before 9am the next morning, very efficient 👍 Booked a double room + breakfast + Mystery Island Snatch clothes rack at 9 pm back to the hotel, saw the hotel sent fruit 😁 Mystery Island is a bit old, but there is a water park inside, quite suitable for children to play In addition, the cute pet park is good, children feed animals very happy.
Zhuhai Fan Hotel has a beautiful environment, brand new facilities, clean and tidy rooms and a comfortable stay. The staff is warm and friendly. Special thanks to the floor supervisor Miss Li (worker number A1196) and the front desk who took the initiative to help change rooms when we encountered room odor and hot water problems. The only drawback is that the hotel could proactively provide more information about park facilities, such as restaurant opening hours, etc., especially when there are not many restaurant options in the park. Knowing this in advance can help better plan your itinerary. Overall, this stay was a pleasant experience and I would recommend it to friends who plan to visit Zhuhai.
Checked in for the third time. I know a lot of procedures, so the check-in was very fast and efficient. The only downside is that Klook didn't make it clear that the extra fee for children was only [one day] instead of the three days and two nights in the package. I paid ¥300 more because of the change. Everyone should pay attention‼ ️. Four families of us checked in together this time. Although we were arranged on the same floor, we were arranged in different sections. The two sections are not very close, and it takes about 5 minutes to walk. I am very satisfied with everything else. I look forward to coming again next time! 👍👍
The hotel is relatively new and clean. The room is comfortable, and the mini-bar is complimentary. The breakfast selection is extensive, and the restaurant has a beautiful setting overlooking the sea. Guests can enjoy unlimited access to the ocean hot springs. During the summer, the hot springs are not overly crowded. The resort's shuttle service is very convenient. However, there aren't many dining options within the resort, and food delivery can take a while. Cleanliness: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Breakfast: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
