Reviews summaryHotel pickup from Phuket(Patong area) was done exactly at 7:05 hrs. The ferry(Ao Nang Princess) took almost 1 hour 45 minutes from Rassada Pier (Phuket) to Nopparat Thara Pier(Krabi). The sea was rough and it was raining on the day of our journey. It was a very good experience. I would recommend to the first time visitors to take a ferry or speedboat instead of bus during travelling from Phuket to Krabi or vice versa.
I went for this over phi phi cos gets to over crowded and this was perfect. staff very friendly arrived on couple islands with NLT many other tourists. even on James Bond island sure the most busy but not till bad and easy to take photos without other people in it.Even had a professional photographer(not always on the tour when available) was on mine with a option to purchase photos for the whole day had close to 100 cost 1200 baht what’s reasonable(sent to your email)
The pickup was done within the specified time 7 to 7:15am, they said the departure time is 8:30 but took off at 9 which is okay as they have dropped us at mentioned time,11:45. The route is so scenic and enjoyed the route. The seating area is big and with good air conditioning and the best part is there is a free shuttle service from the pier to the hotels. Great experience.
The day before, they kindly sent a KakaoTalk message with directions on where to go. Thanks to that, I found the check-in counter without any trouble. It took about two hours by big boat from Rassada Pier to Phi Phi Island, and we even cruised around Koh Phi Phi Leh on the way, like a sightseeing tour. The price seemed reasonable, the crew members were friendly, and the restrooms were kept quite clean. Thanks to them, my trips to and from Phi Phi Island were smooth. I'm satisfied.
I often go to Krabi, but I only use the car to save time, but now that I have more time, I took the ferry for the second time. I like that it is a direct route from Railay to Ao Nang. It is faster because I don't have to stop by Phi Phi Island. I was alone, so my carrier was heavy, but the staff helped me so much. The hotel pick-up and drop-off were perfect. I will use it again when I go back. Off-season and peak season
go for phuket hotel pick up and boat tickets as local taxis cost more . here i would like klook to take note the driver of van , who came pick from hotel was arrogant , even he was musbehaving while pick up , our names where on his list but he was going on asking to show tickets , ticket number , even he never helped us to put the bags inside his can , nor at drop he helped to take out bags , worst part which i experined with klook , with my booking with klook many times first time i got this bad attitude by driver , whi came to pick up .. boat was excellent and phuket harbor (rasada harbor ) to phi phi harbor ( ton sai )sailing and boat was good .. book hotels near ton sai harbor or LOH dalum beach , as if booking far from here you will have to pay 1500 to 2000 bhats yo reach hotels in phi phi as phi phi doest have taxis , its walking island , and only convsnce is long tail boats which ask lots of bhats...so this us a advice ...
the transfer is easy and the transport operator will message you a day before on the time & where to meet. The driver will come to the hotel reception & ask anyone going to phi phi island. Do approach the driver & check your names on the list. However the experience of taking the ferry to phi phi island is torturous. The sea is rough & waves will splash to the seats depending which type ferry you took. I was sitting the open seats exposed to the waves. the 2 hrs journey is brutal & coming back to Phuket is crazy. Chaotic crowds with poor pier structure & disorganized queuing system, including the late ferry departure. bought the 2pm departure but was delayed to 3pm. some European tourists venting their anger at the staff & passengers because they’re late for flights. Don’t be a low quality tourists. Taking public transportation & not willingly to pay for speed boat and yet demand high expectations and yelling on the ship reflects the poor upbringing & display a barbaric behavior.
Since we took a speedboat from Phuket to Koh Phi Phi, we took a large boat on the way back. The speedboat took just under an hour to get there, but it was very rocky, so I needed some motion sickness medicine since I get motion sickness easily. The large boat took about 2 hours and 15 minutes, but we were able to spend the whole trip without feeling any strong rocking. We were also able to go out on the deck of the large boat, so we were able to enjoy the scenery and the ocean breeze. On the boat back from Koh Phi Phi, a staff member who spoke fluent English and Japanese gave us directions to a shared taxi, which took us to our destination for less than the cost of a Grab taxi.
super smooth experience coming from someone out of the country. I was greeted as soon as I got there, checked in, and shown where to go. The ferry also ran on time getting me to my destination in a timely fashion
Ticket pickup was easy, and even though there were some waves, it was a big boat, so I had a comfortable trip thanks to that! The ticket pickup information comes via KakaoTalk or email the day before, telling you which gate and desk number to go to and by what time. My boat was at 11:00 AM, so they told me to be there by 10:00 AM! Also, while moving to the boat, a staff member will tell you to purchase a ticket with a presentation, and it's not at all pushy, and if the time works out, definitely buy it!! It's much cheaper! I couldn't do it because the time didn't work out for me, but at any of the Phi Phi ticket counters, it's the same 400 baht! If you buy it from the staff member on the incoming boat, it's 200 baht. Half price! It's a shame that there are only two times, 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, but if the time works out, be sure to buy it in advance!
