Getting there was easy since we made it the last stop in our 4-hour Taipei Sightseeing Hop On/Hop Off Bus. We got off at National Palace Museum and claimed our tickets from Shung Ye Museum across the street. There were 3 floors with multiple exhibits in National Palace Museum which were a variety of antique artworks ranging from calligraphy, pottery and jewelry pieces from different dynasties and eras. Shung Ye Museum featured a short 3D film-viewing which was entertaining. It was also exciting to hear the Philippines mentioned in connection with Taiwan’s aboriginal groups.

Good package except that Shung Ye is a long and hot walk from the Palace Museum. But interesting collections in both museums

it was a good experience from seeing this museum. definitely worth buying cheaper tickets from klook. have recommended this to my friends too.

This is cheaper than the ticket you actually buy inside the museum. Don't forget to stop by the Shung Ye Museum first to get the actual ticket.

Its great to see different cultures and amazing architectures.

Worth it since there tends to be long lines at the National Palace Museum. Though you have to get the ticket at the Shung Ye Museum. I highly encourage visitung Shung Ye since there are no group tours there so you can really appreciate the exhibit. The National Palace is packed with tourists so it is better to arrive early.

Beautiful exterior! 😊 I just wish we could've stayed longer to explore all artifacts and stuff inside. Recommended! 👍
  • GLENDA 10 Jul 2018
enjoyed Shung Ye Museum rather than National Palace, less crowded though it's a small museum. Suitable for kids. They have 3D short film for children.
