Mt. Fuji & Hakone Private Day Tour with English-Speaking Driver

We had the best experience seeing these beautiful areas because of our brilliant and friendly driver! His local knowledge, advice and tips for the best places to stop to avoid the crowds was so valuable and appreciated. Even his help at snack stops, showing us the best drink machines and how to use them at 7/11 was a hit with my family. I totally recommend booking a driver to see your planned places in Japan to tour. We had the best day in comfort without worrying about anything, we were very grateful to him.

overall it was a good trip, we couldn’t reach to the 5th station due to weather condition but our driver was good & cooperative. Group trip is not recommended for this trip it’s better to go by your own.

We spent our first day in Japan using this private transfer! Our group consisted of 3 kids (one baby), 3 adults and 2 elderly adults and our driver was Amane. The company provided one car seat for us which we needed. We went to Hakone Ropeway and other places on the list. However, due to the light rain, our family decided to leave early and we were done by 1pm. On the way back, Amane was able to accommodate us by making a pit stop for us to buy food. We got back to our Airbnb by 4:30pm. I think we are the first group ever to finished early 😂 but it’s okay. We had a great time. Grateful that Amane explained where to go and what to do at the listed places. Made the process a lot easier for us. We appreciate his willingness to work with us throughout the day. In addition, enjoyed his driving since everyone fell asleep! We would recommend this company and driver again. Thank you Amane, take care!

Had an awesome time on the Mt. Fuji tour! It was our first time seeing it, and the view was absolutely amazing. The tour was super flexible and easy to customize, which made the whole experience stress-free. Big thanks to our driver, Sam — he was really considerate and reliable, and took us to the best spots to enjoy and appreciate the beauty of Mt. Fuji. Totally recommend this tour!

We had a great one day trip to Mt. Fuji. it was pretty cloudy and we thought that we would not be able to sea Fuji-san’s peak, but fortunately we could! we even got to visit Lake Ashi and enjoy a black egg after a ropeway trip. Emon, our driver was pretty easy going, professional, punctual and spoke great English.

We just had an amazing day trip with our driver, Zeb! He was incredibly patient and professional, always punctual at each stops which we really appreciated. It was also super easy to contact him and he was very clear about where and when to meet at each location, which made the day run smoothly. The private tour had a nice no-frills vibe that we enjoyed. The drop-offs were smooth, and the flexible itinerary was perfect. We only needed to buy the Fuji ropeway ticket from Klook; everything else was free to explore. Even though we didn’t get to see Mount Fuji because of the clouds, we still had a fantastic time visiting Oshino Hakkai, Lake Kawaguchi and Arakurayama Sengen Park. The long stairs at the park were a bit of a challenge, but the views were worth every step.

Our driver was very kind and patient. Traveled with a group of 12 so this private charter was perfect. We were picked up and dropped off at our AirBnB. There was a lot of traffic on our way back due to car accidents, but our driver knew the back routes to get us home to nearly on time. The road to Mt. Fuji was closed the morning we were scheduled to go, but we visited the other sites.

Akon met my group in hotel lobby and picked us up on time. He was an excellent guide and we had a perfect day and clear views of Mt Fuji. He was very knowledgeable and was open to modifying our tour to accommodate my families needs. 10/10 would book again!

if budget is not an issue and you need to save time to go for a day trip to see Mount Fuji, I would recommend this customised Mount Fuji trip. I changed the default itinerary to include visiting shrines and other location. The driver was punctual and accommodating.
