Classic 4-Day Yubeng Trek in Yunnan (Meili Snow Mountain + Ice Lake + Sacred Waterfall + Ninong Grand Canyon)

I enjoyed the hike to yubeng and the glacier lake. it was quite beautiful and had magnificent scenery. However I am fit and I still think it is tiring, but worth it for the view. I would like to send my appreciation to the guide 扎史 , who pushed us to finish the hike while guiding as through the trail. his driving skills and awareness is very impressive. I really love the scenery in yubeng

The hike itself was quite challenging as beginners due to the distance and steep incline, but the scenery was breathtaking, making our experience very fulfilling nonetheless. As foreigners who speak limited Chinese, there were some language barriers. But overall, we had a good experience with our guide, Za Shi. He was a skilled driver, and very responsive to our questions on WeChat. The car was clean and could fit our group of 4, and 2 others comfortably. Before our trip, the coordinator also responded promptly to our many questions, which really helped with our packing and preparation.

The itinerary was well-organized and fulfilling. Starting from Lijiang, we were able to smoothly complete the trip to Deqin and Yubeng in five days. Our guide and driver, Baima, was experienced and attentive, providing us with advance notice of important information. The accommodations were conveniently located and well-equipped, allowing my son and I to successfully complete the trip. Thank you!

The four-day, three-night trip to Yubeng was tiring but fulfilling. The first night was in Feilai Temple, and we had good weather, saw the starry sky, and were lucky enough to see the sun shining on Meili Snow Mountain. In the three days in Yubeng, we walked nearly 40km. Here I want to thank the guide, Zhaxi, for his leadership and encouragement, which helped me and my partner persevere. Yubeng Village is indeed beautiful and worth the trip. Maybe I will come again in the future.

The journey to Yubeng is unforgettable, with natural scenery that is as poetic as it is picturesque. Guide Zha Si is not only knowledgeable, but also attentive, and his professional guidance made our journey safer and more enjoyable. His warm hospitality and deep understanding of local culture gave us a deeper understanding of this land. Zha Si always patiently answered our questions and shared many interesting stories and legends. His careful arrangements and attention to detail, as well as his ability to speak some English, ensured that every aspect of our journey was smooth and uninterrupted. I highly recommend Zha Si as a guide for Yubeng, who made this trip a true adventure and discovery.

I highly recommend this tour for the scenic views of Yubeng!! Our guide ZhaShi was very responsible throughout the whole trip. He is also humourous and handsome 🤣. Our group was a small group of 6. Hiking Route might be slightly challenging if you are a beginner due to altitude. Our guide encouraged our group and we all completed the whole trek successfully! Overall, pricing was quite affordable too. No regrets! I fully enjoyed this itinerary!

Hiking in Yubeng was very tiring, dangerous, and frustrating. But I was lucky! I met a responsible guide named Tashi, interesting friends (all of whom were "free souls" who went out alone), and the golden mountain in the sun that I could see every day! The guide Tashi is a local from Xidang, knows Yubeng like the back of his hand, and we were all his "family" along the way. He has first-class driving skills. Although he is a Kangba man born in the 2000s, he has a wide range of music, so I didn't fall asleep during the ride. He wanted to carry our backpacks but was rejected. He found a camera for us to take pictures, and led us to dive down the mountain... We agreed that we will find Tashi again next time we come to Yubeng😎

The travel experience exceeded expectations. The scenery of Feilai Temple, Rizhao Jinshan and Yubeng is super good. The leader Sun Kang is also very good. He has online driving skills, a good personality and is very responsible~
