The Ultimate Whisky Tour from Edinburgh

Our guide Jacqueline was very bubbly and fun. She made the long ride enjoyable. Actual fees for the distillery tour and tasting not part of the overall tour fee and paid directly to the distillery, so it was a good flexible option. Interesting and informative. Drives were long so the whole day will take you to only 2 distilleries with only short in-between stops for quick photo snaps of the views and lunch. Overall, the tour was relaxing and enjoyable for a beginners' guide to get a full view of the Scotch whisky experience, much better than any Scotch whisky experience just in Edinburgh. Worth going out of the city for.

Fantastic Ultimate Whisky Tour – Highly Recommended! Had a wonderful experience on the Ultimate Whisky Tour. Our guide, an elderly gentleman, was full of enthusiasm and shared a wealth of knowledge about whisky, history, and the region. His passion truly elevated the tour! He gave us ample time at each stop to enjoy the tastings and explore without feeling rushed. The entire day was well-paced and enjoyable. I really appreciated his warm personality and storytelling throughout the journey. A well-deserved 5-star for him and this great whisky experience. I’d definitely recommend this tour to any whisky lover visiting Scotland!

At the meeting point, we met Marty, our Driver and Guide for the day. We 1st visited the Aberfeldy Distillery, a part of the Dewars Group, which was an absolute delight. The tour of their museum, facilities & the tasting was well organised and done by one of the experienced guides of the Distillery. Tasting the Aberfeldy 12 years, Dewars 15 years and 18 years, all paired with chocolates! After leaving the Aberfeldy Distillery, we had lunch in Aberfeldy town, a quaint little town. Next stop was Glenturret, the oldest distillery in Scotland & owned by the French Group, Lalique! After a quick round of their facilities and whisky tasting, it was back on the road to Edinburgh!

This is not only because the local travel company is very professional, but also because of our driver and guide, Mr. SHAFIQ 👍, who created many surprises for us along the way and even had a bonus surprise at the end of the trip.
