There was only an email to notify the group of the group but no contact information for the tour guide, which was a bit inconvenient for people who were not staying in the hotel. When I couldn't wait for anyone at the accommodation address, I almost thought the order was going to be cancelled. Fortunately, I contacted customer service I was able to contact the tour guide and got a false alarm. The overall trip was great. I tasted ten glasses of different wines in one day. Fortunately, the weather was good after starting the trip, so I was able to drink cocktails and snacks while enjoying the scenery while cruising the river.
Five people will set off in a seven-seater car on the left. The tour guide has a good relationship with the group members during the journey, talking and laughing. Compared with large groups, small groups can better cater for the needs of each individual. This group will go to drink and eat together all day, and the price is all inclusive. In fact, it is almost worth playing!
Our guide, Sara, was enthusiastic and professional. Although the Douro Valley roads were long and rugged, Sara drove carefully, ensuring a comfortable ride – perhaps thanks to the luxurious Mercedes shuttle. The boat trip was calm and relaxing. The beauty of the Douro Valley is something you have to experience firsthand to truly appreciate. The guide at the Port wine cellar was very humorous, and we learned a lot about the history and knowledge of Port wine in a lighthearted and pleasant atmosphere. The whole trip involved drinking from morning till night, which was delightful.
