Osaka City/Kyoto/Nara/Uji/Kobe Popular Locations Customized Chartered Car Day Tour

Booked this for my family of 6. It was very convenient as we wanted a private transport arrangement with pick up from our hotel. The itinerary was customised based on what we wanted to see which was Nara-Uji- Kyoto all in 10 hours. Had to top up 3000 yen to add Uji + parking/toll fees (separate- it was around 10000yen) but it was worth it! The company contacted us prior to the trip to confirm the itinerary and pick up time. Lunch can be arranged or you can eat at any one of your stops. This trip would never have happened with the usual bus tour as typically it would be just two cities Nara & Kyoto (Uji not included). Driver was very polite throughout but could only speak in Mandarin. Not an issue as we were able to communicate using Google Translate. Driver waited in the car while we took our time to explore and we were not rushed at all. Just need to be mindful that it takes around 1.5hrs back to Osaka city from Kyoto. Our family had the best time. Thank you!

excellent charter car. we asked for a sedan for 4 pax but received a 6 seater. it was very comfortable and clean ride. they prepared whatsapp group and confirmed all itineraries well before the trip which made it easy on the day of travel due to language limitatiob. only downside, it does not include toll fees and parking so be prepared for additional ~8000¥.

We had an excellent experience with this customized chartered car tour. The 10-hour day, including a round trip from our hotel, was incredibly convenient and allowed us to make the most of our time. The van was spacious and spotless, providing a comfortable ride throughout the day. Having a Chinese-speaking driver was a big plus, especially for our mum, as it made communication smooth and stress-free. While tolls, parking fees, and attraction admissions weren’t included, this was clearly communicated beforehand and wasn’t an issue for us. This tour was the best way to see exactly what we wanted at our own pace. Communication with the company was clear and straightforward, making the entire process easy. Our tour was great! it was nice to be able to come back to an air conditioned car after a long hot walk and be taken to the next place. They were very accommodating when making changes to the itinerary the day of too so we got to see more than planned!

This time I took two elders and two children on a free trip to Kyoto. I was very satisfied with my decision. Our whole day was arranged very wonderfully. The adults and children could take a break while moving, and the driver could explain Kyoto while doing it. The geographical and historical environment, looking at the photos full of these memories are very beautiful! The service communication before the trip was also very smooth. We would actively contact them two days before departure, which made me feel at ease during the whole day of travel. I would also like to thank Ms. Wang who received us that day. She was super nice and helped provide advice and translation during the trip. I also went to the post office in Japan to send a package. Anyway, I am very grateful for her assistance.

the operator contacted me to confirm my booking as soon as I made booking. driver is punctual and polite, and 7 seaters is Alphard so it is super comfortable. Our itinerary is very smooth, Osaka Hotel - Arashiyama Bamboo forest - Nishiki Market - Fushimi Inari - Nara Park for 10 hours.

I like the flexibility in customising my itinerary through a contact person who liaises with us in English before the confirmation of the purchase of the klook package. The assigned driver communicates only in Japanese and Mandarin, and doubles up in explaining to you at the entrance of each place of interest how to best view the attractions. But thereafter, you are left to explore on your own with a given amount of time. Do also note that the package excludes the multiple toll fees and parking fees, and you are required to pay the driver the final amount at the end of the trip. What I enjoyed about a private tour is when you do not have to worry about how to get to your next destination and you can rest along the journey. For our trip, we left from our hotel at 8.30 am to Tenryuji Temple > Arashiyama Bamboo Forest > Togetsukyo Bridge > Nishiki Market > Fushimi Inari Taisha > Todaiji Temple > Nara Park and came back to the hotel at 6.00 pm with 3 toll fees and 1 parking fee that amounted to 8220 yen. If you have time, money, intend to explore each place in depth, or if you have elderly/children, then it’s best to cover Kyoto and Nara in 2 separate days.
