When traveling with children, the elderly or large suitcases, it is highly recommended to purchase bus tickets directly to the Prince Hotel. It is very convenient. After placing the order online, remember to go to your email inbox to receive the QR code for the bus ticket. When you want to take the bus, just scan it. It’s ready to use, very convenient and fast! The price is half that of taking the Shinkansen, and the CP value is super high. You will rest at a rest stop for 30 minutes on the way, and you can buy souvenirs or food to eat on the train! We took the Shinkansen and then transferred to the train on our return trip. It was really tiring. I really recommend taking the bus. We took the bus all the way to Karuizawa on Saturday morning and there was no traffic jam. We were originally worried about traffic jams on weekends, but it seems we were overly worried. !
the bus terminal is right outside the airport and its very convenient. the trip took longer than expected due to heavy traffic at tokyo but thats inevitable. we were dropped off at the lobby of our hotel. the lady driver is also very good. the ride was comfortable and smooth. altho the trip is longer that the shinkansen, will definetly recomend for those coming from the airport with huge luggages. you can just sleep the entire way and arrive at Karuizawa by 8pm..
the bus terminal is right outside the airport and its very convenient. it leaves exactly on time so make sure not to miss it. the trip took longer than expected due to heavy traffic at tokyo but thats inevitable. we were dropped off at the lobby of our hotel. the lady driver is also very good. the ride was comfortable and smooth. altho the trip is longer that taking the train/ shinkansen, will definetly recomend for those coming from the airport with huge luggages. you can just sleep the entire way and arrive at Karuizawa by 8pm..
The waiting area is right in front of the entrance of Karuizawa Prince West Building, which is very convenient for going directly to the airport's second terminal. We left Narita Airport at 10:30, arrived at the rest stop at 12:30, rested for half an hour before leaving again, and arrived at the airport at 14:30. We did not encounter any traffic jams and the driver was also very nice. There are less than 20 people in the whole car, and the seats are very comfortable. It is recommended for people with elderly people or children or large luggage and when the weather is bad. You can sleep all the way, and it was really convenient not to have to drag luggage because it snowed in Karuizawa that day.
A good option for red-eye flights or those traveling with elderly or young children. Narita Airport Bus Stop 16 is located just a short walk to the left from the exit. Show the QR code to the staff, then line up and wait. The driver will help load your luggage, and passengers can take any available seat. The bus ride is about 2.5 hours to a rest stop, where there's a 30-minute break. You can use the restroom or buy something to eat for the ride. After that, it's about another hour's drive to the Prince Hotel West Wing lobby. 👍🏻
The pick-up is convenient, right outside the Narita Airport pick-up area, the space is clean, the ride is comfortable, and there is no traffic jam. Since it was past dinner time when we arrived in Karuizawa, there were rest stops along the way where we could stroll around and replenish our food. There is also a toilet on the bus. Suitable for traveling with the elderly
No transfers needed, and it's also cheaper. There will be a stop at a rest area where you can buy food. Although it's a bit slower than the JR, you don't have to wander around inside the railway station. Just sleep on the bus, then buy something at the rest stop to eat back on the bus. And I took the 6:10 am bus and ended up having the whole bus to myself! I didn't know about this bus before, but I'll just buy tickets on Klook from now on. Klook has a lot of unexpectedly cheap tickets you can buy, so remember to search thoroughly. I didn't know before, and I would always take the Shinkansen and then transfer to another railway, and then I couldn't find the exit inside the railway station? Then I would just keep walking and walking and walking and get so tired. Now I just take the direct bus, easy and simple. Price: Cheap Seat reservation process: Simple Redemption instructions: Just show the QR code at the boarding point.
Great experience and easy to order. The official website for booking bus tickets can only book bus tickets within 30 days, while klook has no restrictions. As long as the reservation is made early in the morning, klook will contact the bus company behind the scenes, and a QR code will be issued immediately after the order is confirmed. For example, I made a reservation 50 days in advance and received the confirmation 20 days before departure, so there is no need to be afraid of forgetting to book a bus ticket☺️. Very good
The driver was very attentive and polite. Nowadays, people are busy with work and it’s not easy to ask for leave, so we didn’t plan to schedule any itinerary on the first day. We went to Narita Airport to go through customs at around 2 o’clock, and bought the 3:30 bus to Karuizawa with our luggage. I just slept comfortably in the car, without having to think about changing trains or passing stops. It might be a normal day, but my wife and I were the only ones on the whole trip. We would stop at a rest stop to go to the toilet, buy some snacks, and then go to Karujing. It was around 7pm in the West Building of Ze Prince Hotel. We also deliberately booked accommodation in the West Building. The whole process was seamless and quite comfortable.
The bus location is just next to the gate of the West Building of Prince Hotel. It is very easy to find and convenient. The driver drove smoothly and arrived at the airport an hour earlier than expected! After driving for about an hour, I will rest at a rest stop for half an hour. There are a lot of food at the rest stop, which is pretty good.
