Hanbok Rental near Gyeongbokgung by Hae and Dal Hanbok

To get there before Gyeongbokgung Palace opened at 09:00, I chose Ilwoon Hanbok, which opens at 08:30. I booked the basic Hanbok for 2 hours online and spent an extra ₩10,000 (paid by card) to rent a hat. They can communicate in Chinese. The auntie helping us was originally going to let us return it an hour later, but it was too hot, so we finished taking photos early and returned it in about two hours. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.

The staff provided excellent service! They can speak Chinese directly. The store has a wide variety of clothes that are kept very clean, and the staff helps with choosing sizes and color coordination. The hairstyles they create are also very beautiful and elegant. The store is located very close to Gyeongbokgung Palace, making it super convenient to walk over for photos right after changing. It offers great value for money and is highly recommended!

Hanbok rental here was a swift process! We were warmly greeted when we arrived and quickly ushered to select our outfits. We chose the skirts and then the staff there helped select the top and helped us into the hanbok layers. We booked the premium package x 2hrs (it was on offer - same price as traditional package) and came with a handbag. Despite the cold winter weather (Mid-Feb), the hanboks kept us warm 😊The place was only a short walk to the palace so all in all it was a good experience and I would recommend the place!

absolutely loved the experience! the team was very warm and welcoming and they did my hair for an extra 10,000 won. It was November when I visited, so those little coats that covered the shoulders were a must! it was an extra 10,000 won as well. I booked for a whole day hire because I planned to walk to Changdeokgung Palace and back. Highly recommend this place!!! Protip: search Homeboy Seoul to find the place and it’s on the 3rd floor :)

Chinese is spoken, and the service attitude is excellent. You can purchase items you need, and prices are clearly marked and transparent. The Chinese (China) photographer has a good attitude.

As soon as we arrived at the hanbok shop, we were immediately greeted by the staff. The whole process took less than 15 minutes, and there were plenty of staff members available to assist. Do note that if you’d like additional accessories not included in the package—such as hair accessories, hats, or shoes—there will be an extra charge. Our package only included the hanbok and a bag.

They were nice to my toddler and was very patient. They helped us choose the best looking hanbok for my toddler. They are located just above Homeboy Seoul.

best birthday ever. thank you to this shop. very easy to find lol even if we had a hard time looking for the place initially so I checked the reviews and found that it's near a cafe called eer?? or something like that
