Seoul Gyeongbokgung Hanbok Rental Experience 'Palace Fox Hanbok'

location: conveniently located just next to exit 2 of gyeongbokgong station. we then walk abt 3 mins via the underground (shaded and cooling) to exit 5 of the station to get to the palace. The stairs may not be good for strollers or elderly. But the staff were v friendly and efficient. Our family of 4 booked the trendy style and each managed to find what we liked. I loved that they did not try to upsell us! My boys love the the umbrellas while I find the handbag super useful to put my phone and locker keys in. I opted to top up krw6,000 for my hairdo and hubby chose a Hat for another krw5,000. Overall we had a great time and 2 hours rental were just nice for us before our kids got tired of posing for photos. 😂

It seems like you can visit directly, but it appeared to be more advantageous to book here because of the discounted price! Even the lowest-priced course has enough cute skirt options, but when I saw them in person, there was a skirt in the next course up that I was interested in, so I upgraded! (Possible with an additional fee on site!) I wore it! The VIP course above that had a gorgeousness like a queen in a Korean drama, and I want to wear it next time I go!! I went with my husband, and there were many fashionable items for men as well. It seems that the members of TXT wore costumes rented from this Hanbok shop, and it was possible to wear the same ones!! There seems to be a wide variety of children's sizes, so both adults and children can enjoy it! Bags could be rented for free! It seems like you can also get your hair done ^^ It's reassuring that there are Japanese-speaking staff, and all the other staff were also very kind! I want to wear it again!!!

Great experience at Palace Fox Hanbok. Booking through Klook is super easy. It is easy to find, right next to Gyeongbokgung station exit 2. Staff are mostly approachable. Rental time starts only when you are ready to leave the place. 2 hours rental is just right for us. We find that Trendy hanboks are good enough with many designs to choose from. First, you choose the skirt, then staff will recommend the top to go with. There are pictures for hairdo with different pricing , totally optional and no hard selling at all. You also get to choose a small bag to go with the hanbok and leave the rest of your belongings in the locker. Short walking distance to the palace.

staff were really friendly, there were many different options for the hanbok too, but for the standard price package, there are limited options, which is understandable.

The fabrics were clean and neat, and comfortable to wear. I chose a light pink traditional style, and it looked amazing in photos! 2. Thoughtful service, enthusiastic staff The staff helped recommend suitable styles and helped me put on the Hanbok (it's more complicated than I imagined 😅). Hairstyles and hair accessories were also matched to the Hanbok, and the overall look immediately felt right! 3. Convenient location, flexible pickup and return The store is very close to Gyeongbokgung Palace, within walking distance. Rental time was also flexible. We were a little late returning because we were taking pictures, and the staff was very kind and accommodating. 4. Excellent value for money The price is transparent, includes basic accessories, and there are no hidden fees. There was also a small discount for booking through the app, which was a great deal!

the staff communicated well in english and very helpful in terms of choosing the hanbok’s colour to matchy2 as well as when you wearing the hanbok👍👍however this shop offered limited sizes especially for those with petite size since the hanbok’s skirt mostly quite long. overall good experienced!

upgraded to VIP ones a bit pricey but you'll see what you paid for. very accommodating too and nice to talk too!

Booked this hanbok rental experience last minute and it was definitely worth it! The staff were very accommodating, and everything was so well-organised, from choosing the hanbok to fitting and hairstyling. Even though there were a lot of customers, they still took great care of all of us and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend! 💜

After I selected a chima (skirt), the staff helped me choose three jeogori (tops) that would match it, and I picked one from those options. Thank you for helping me choose a top and bottom that matched so well. We changed quickly and made it in time for the changing of the guard ceremony at Gyeongbokgung Palace. I am very grateful. I originally ordered a premium Hanbok online, but when I arrived, I learned that the long-sleeved Hanbok tops or the ornate, queen-style versions were considered "VIP" Hanboks. I upgraded on-site and paid the extra fee, and I felt it was absolutely worth it. A short-haired lady who helped me put on the Hanbok spoke Chinese and even told the hair stylist to use the newest hair accessories for me. I'm truly grateful to her; she made me look beautiful in my photos today! 😍 I highly recommend this place! The service is excellent!
