Musee Marmottan Monet Ticket in Paris

This is a small museum located near the forest. Unlike large museums, you can relax and enjoy your time. The famous work "Impression, Sunrise" is on loan as of October 1, 2024. There is a security check at the entrance, the furnishings on the first floor are wonderful, the basement floor has Monet's works on display, and the second floor has religious paintings. The interior of the museum itself, which is like a mansion, was also nice. I also recommend taking a leisurely stroll along the nearby forest paths.

If you like Monet, you should definitely go! There are so many works by Monet!!

I like Monet's paintings, so this was definitely a place I wanted to visit. The walk from the station to the museum is stylish and quiet, and it's a museum in a quiet place! Inside was also very quiet, so I was able to relax and enjoy the view! I could see a lot of water lilies. The space was wonderful. The cafe in the courtyard was also stylish. I gave up this time due to time constraints... The goods were also very cute and many of them can only be purchased here, so I recommend it.

The Impression Sunrise was out of stock, but there were many Impressionist exhibits, which was nice. There was also a water lily exhibit, although not as many as the Orangerie Museum. It would have been nice to visit the Orsay Museum as well, so that we could compare the exhibits.

A very interesting art museum. Monet's paintings in the basement are captivating, and there are many pieces of furniture and artworks by different artists on the first and second floors. Art lovers could easily spend two hours here. You can also use an app to select your favorite works and create your own guide booklet (I forgot the additional cost). Booking through Klook was convenient: I decided the same day and got in without waiting in line.

There are many works from each era on display, tracing Monet's life, and I was able to get a real sense of how he spent his time through his works. In addition to Monet, there are also many works by impressionist painters who were inspired by him, so I think this is a very valuable museum.

Quiet, understated, and well attended, but not crowded, this museum stands in contrast to the commitment required for the frenetic Louvre and the hustle and bustle of the D'Orsay. 1.5 - 2 hours is enough to take in the collection of Monets and the temporary exhibition. There are some interesting historical artifacts and medieval religious scripts as well. Worth visiting if the Paris visit is more than just a few days.
