Fantastic 5.0
We visited Monet’s house and gardens in Giverny a few days before coming to the museum, and it completely changed the experience for us. Being able to connect the scenery and atmosphere from Giverny to Monet’s paintings made the masterpieces feel even more extraordinary. Absolutely in awe.
We were also very lucky to catch the special exhibition on Henri Rousseau — truly the cherry on top.
One thing to note: Klook tickets only let you choose the date, not a specific entry time, so be prepared for an average wait of around 30–60 minutes outside.

A hidden gem in Paris! Musée de l'Orangerie is small but breathtaking—home to Monet’s iconic *Water Lilies* displayed in two oval rooms designed just for them. Standing in those serene, light-filled spaces feels like stepping into the paintings themselves. The lower level’s Impressionist collection (Renoir, Cézanne, Matisse) is equally impressive.
What I loved: No crowds (unlike the Louvre!), intimate setting, and the way natural light enhances the art. Spent an hour here but could’ve lingered all day. Perfect for art lovers short on time.

Klook redemption was easy but for Musee de l’orangerie, you should reserve a timed entry to allow you in quickly. and to get this timed entry, you need to reserve at the official website several days in advance otherwise the timed entry will run out. you can still go in with your Klook ticket but you have to join the queue without timed entry, which is much longer. so I managed to get 12:30pm time slot on the official website first several days in advance, then I got the Klook ticket one day in advance. the museum itself is smaller than musee d’orsay, so at least 45min to 1 hour. the main pieces are monet’s 8 water lilies murals. there was also an henri Matisse temporary exhibition when i went on 1 April 2026.

Upon entering the first floor, you'll find a specially designed oval exhibition hall showcasing water lilies. It's truly stunning and worth a visit to the Musée de l'Orangerie, a place that will make you want to linger.

Monet’s masterpieces were incredibly beautiful and the only thing that could have made it better is if it was a little less crowded. There are plenty of items available to purchase in the store and the gallery is wheelchair accessible. The cafe is quite small and my mum was disappointed that they didn’t offer decaffeinated cappuccinos, but has a decent selection of items available.

It was much more wonderful than I expected, and I think I was absorbed in appreciating the artwork. I was able to enter quickly by just showing the barcode, and I didn't have to choose a time slot in advance. A friend recommended that I go to the Orangerie Museum when I go to Paris, and I think I made the right decision.

I could not get the tickets from the official website which would comes with a time slot booking, so I got from Klook. Then I realised Klook also require to book a time slot on the official website. It was competely FULL. I just took my chance and line up on the left side(no booking time slot line) before 9am. You can still go in without a time slot booking just wait in a separate line. It was a 40 mins waiting time but you better get in line before the musume open

The first time I traveled to Paris alone was in 1998, when the World Cup was being held in Paris, and the city was filled with enthusiastic fans and tourists from all over the world. After 27 years, it is now 2025, and I am visiting the City of Flowers, Paris again with my beloved wife. During this trip to Paris, we specially arranged to visit the Orangerie Museum. The Orangerie is located in the Tuileries Garden, close to the Place de la Concorde, with very convenient transportation. Although the building itself is not large, the interior display design is very special and cleverly combined with Monet's famous work: Water Lilies. We are very impressed by the ingenuity of the museum's design and left with a very pleasant visiting experience.
