Traveler reviews
I was so satisfied with the 4-day Museum Pass, allowing me to explore at my leisure! The thrill of entering with the pass without waiting in line! It was really convenient for me, as a 'P' (perceiver), to visit places not originally in my plan. I visited the Louvre (one-time entry only, reservation via official website), Orsay Museum (reservation via official website), Les Invalides (walk-in, Napoleon's tomb, surprisingly a lot to see), Pantheon (walk-in, has Foucault's Pendulum), Rodin Museum (walk-in, features Rodin's works plus Impressionist pieces), and Sainte-Chapelle + Conciergerie (can be booked as a set on the official website, small so you can see it quickly).
You can scan the QR code directly to enter museums, and the instructions for use are very clear. For more popular museums, it's recommended to book in advance. You can choose the 0-euro pass option to enter; simply scan both the pass and your reservation screen to gain entry. This applies to places like the Louvre, Versailles, and Notre Dame's towers. Please note that heatwave conditions may cause museums to close, preventing entry.
This museum pass is incredibly useful. I recommend planning which museums you want to visit in advance, as some require timed reservations. Remember to book those ahead of time, and when you arrive, just look for the reserved line. Most museums don't require reservations for entry. Also, if you're a big museum enthusiast, you might consider a multi-day pass. I only had one day, so I just bought a one-day pass, but I definitely made the most of it!
It was truly great that we could enter more quickly than tourists who bought general tickets, whether or not they had reserved a 2-day Paris Museum Pass for over 50 museums, galleries, and famous tourist attractions in Paris. We were able to visit all the places we wanted to see, such as the Palace of Versailles, the Louvre Museum, the Musée d'Orsay, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Rodin Museum, and enjoy them to our heart's content, making it a truly delightful trip. If I visit Paris again, I will definitely purchase the Paris Museum Pass again.
If you're visiting Paris for the first time, or planning a sightseeing trip, I recommend purchasing a Museum Pass. It's easier to buy the Museum Pass and then just make time reservations on the website, rather than buying individual tickets. I didn't have to wait in line in the winter, so it was less cold and saved time.
Enjoy museums like the Louvre and Orsay in two days! We visited a total of six attractions in two days. It's best to book the Louvre and Sainte-Chapelle in advance!
We were able to use our museum pass to enter and enjoy the Louvre Museum, the Musée d'Orsay, the Musée de l'Orangerie, the Palace of Versailles, and Sainte-Chapelle.
When visiting Paris, this pass is a must-buy; it's incredibly convenient and cost-effective. A special reminder: for several popular attractions like the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, and the Orangerie, you must book your entry time online in advance. Otherwise, waiting times can often be measured in hours 🥹🥹🥹, so using the pass is essential.
