Yehliu Geopark & Jiufen Old Street Full-Day Tour

We had a tour booked with A Wei and it was a wonderful experience. We were picked up directly from our hotel, which made the day very convenient and stress-free. His tour plan was very well organised, and he was punctual, friendly, and professional throughout the day. The itinerary covered Yehliu Geopark, Golden Waterfall, Jiufen Old Street, Cat Village, Shifen Waterfall, and the lantern experience. We had a great chance to explore Yehliu Geopark and Jiufen Old Street, but unfortunately heavy rain started later in the day. Despite the weather, A Wei still took us to all the remaining spots and kindly showed us around as much as possible. This was our first time in Taiwan, and we felt very welcomed and well looked after. We truly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend A Wei to anyone visiting Taiwan.

As a solo traveler, this day tour was really convenient for me. It wasn’t the usual big tour bus with a fixed guide instead, we were in a private van with different tourists, which made the experience more relaxed and personal. The driver was very kind and accommodating. Even though he didn’t speak much English, he made sure to explain everything clearly. He would discuss the itinerary in Chinese, then repeat the important details in English just for me since I was the only English speaker in the van. The weather wasn’t on our side that day, but I still truly appreciated the North Coast tour it actually gave me another reason to come back. I was especially looking forward to the Cat Village, though we had a shorter time there probably because most guests preferred spending more time at other spots. everyone was respectful and very punctual. The hotel pickup and drop-off made everything even more convenient. Overall, I felt very lucky and genuinely happy with this experience.

It was a group tour of nine people, and the driver was excellent. Because I was very busy with work, I didn't check my email, so he might have mistakenly thought I wasn't a Chinese speaker. He asked for my contact information in both languages, which was very responsible of him. At each scenic spot, he sent explanations to the group chat, so we never felt lost about what to do. Unfortunately, there was a heavy downpour in the afternoon, and it felt like the sky lanterns wouldn't be able to fly, so we didn't release them. We also skipped the Shifen Waterfall itinerary because our shoes were already soaked in Shifen Old Street, and we felt we would get completely drenched if we went down to the waterfall. Regret can also be a kind of beauty, and I'll recommend this to friends if I get the chance.

Our tour guide, Ah Wei, was exceptionally good. At each new attraction, he provided additional historical context and information, which was very helpful. The scenery along the way was also beautiful. This tour was a wonderful surprise, and I highly recommend it; I believe it will be a great experience for everyone. I also wish our excellent tour guide happiness and success every day!

I enjoyed this tour with a small group. I was picked up and dropped off at my hotel, which made everything very convenient. In just one day I was able to see so many places—if I had tried to do it on my own using public transport, I would have only managed a few. I recommend this tour. The only part I found less impressive was the Cat Village.

This was my first time joining a shared tour, and I chose this one because it visited many attractions and offered great value. To my surprise, it exceeded my expectations! Driver Han managed the time perfectly, ensuring we avoided crowds at every major attraction. We had no trouble getting photos with the Queen's Head rock at Yehliu Geopark, and we even managed to visit A-Mei Tea House. We had ample time to explore each location, and the driver also recommended delicious local food and helped us take group photos. Best of all, we could choose our hotel as the pickup location, so we didn't have to wake up too early, and the drop-off location on the return trip was also accommodated to our requests. It was a full and satisfying day. Highly recommend it to everyone!

Our tour guide, Liam, was excellent at explaining the history of the attractions. He was engaging and had a very pleasant demeanor. Before we even arrived in Jiufen, he recommended several highly-rated and affordable local eateries, and even provided a map to help us find them, which was incredibly thoughtful. I also want to emphasize that Liam drove at a very safe speed throughout the entire tour. The experience was exceptional. This car tour was truly delightful and memorable! The tour started at Yehliu Geopark. got the ticket from Klook so scanned and enter. Nice Seaview and must see queen's head before it disappeared. next are Yin & yan sea, Thirteenth floor ruins and Gullfoss. abt 10 min stop at each place. Next was Jiufen old street for lunch and sightseeing and Houtong cat village. Shifen sky lantern, water fall. Driver 阿玮 was punctual and professional. Recommended

It was a packed course that visited seven places in one day. It's a lot of walking, so I think it's best for people with a lot of stamina, but if that's okay, it's the best tour. The driver, Han Xianzhen, gave us a wonderful tour. I was worried at first because everyone else spoke Chinese, but he always took the time to explain things to me. He also reminded me of the meeting time in the group chat, so I was able to spend the time with peace of mind. I felt that the pace at the tourist spots was just right, not too long or too short. He only gave a brief explanation of the places, and then we were free to do what we wanted, so I was able to relax and enjoy the tour at my own pace. I highly recommend this tour. If your driver is Han, you'll be even luckier! His consideration is wonderful. Thank you for a fun day.

This is a much preferred option for me for a Yehliu, Juifen and Shihfen tour. I tried the bus one before and though it is nice that you really have a tour guide to explain this and that... I really love how we can go to all the different locations in a much more smaller group. It get less crowded. I highly recommend you consider this option.
