Surf Lessons In Kuta Bali

This is a review of UP2U Surf School. They safely stored our valuables in a locker and were very accommodating with our schedule. Even though I don't speak English well, the lesson was no problem, and instructor Chris taught at a level appropriate for us. I missed checking my email (the email from the company was classified as spam), so we couldn't make it at the scheduled time, but they arranged an instructor for us when we showed up unexpectedly. We booked a 2:1 private lesson and are very satisfied as it allowed us to surf successfully at a great price. I will definitely book again on my next visit to Kuta. I'll be sure to check my email properly next time. I highly recommend UP2U Surf School.

I recently took surfing lessons at this fantastic surf school, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, the entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel comfortable and excited to get started. The true stars of my experience were my coaches, Ricco and Wayan. Ricco has a unique talent for breaking down complex techniques into simple steps, and his patience gave me the confidence to push past my fears. Wayan was equally phenomenal; his hands-on approach and keen eye for detail were invaluable. He was always right there to guide my positioning and cheer me on. I also have to give a massive shoutout to the school’s photographer. Capturing action shots in the ocean is no easy task, but they did a brilliant job. The photos are spectacular souvenirs and a wonderful reminder of this incredible milestone.

Had Adi as an instructor, great dude all around. He was patient and observant with my errors. By the third lesson I could catch my own waves and maneuver the board.

My first time taking a surfing class and it was so so fun! Our instructor, Anya, did a very great job. Super friendly, experienced, and comfortable speaking in English 💕 Affordable price for a 2-hour surfing class!! Will definitely come back again and take more classes with UP2U when I visit Bali next time.

Great services offered by UP2U! The packages are affordable, and all the instructors were amazing. A special shout-out to Morgan for being incredibly friendly and patient with us. He took great care of us and taught us in such a calm and gentle way without ever making us feel pressured. It was my husband’s first time, and he was a little afraid of the waves. Morgan was very understanding, encouraging, and made sure he felt comfortable throughout the session. Thanks to him, my husband gradually gained confidence and ended up having a great time! We truly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend UP2U to anyone looking for a fun and safe adventure. Thank you, Morgan, for making our first experience such a memorable one!

Had a fantastic experience with UP2U Bali Surf School. The instructors were incredibly patient, encouraging and professional, even though we spent plenty of time falling off our boards :)! What stood out most was their focus on safety. As complete beginners with no prior surfing experience, we were naturally a little nervous. The team explained everything clearly, stayed close to us in the water, and made sure we felt comfortable throughout. Despite being total newbies, we always felt safe and well looked after. My son had an especially memorable experience. He came in with a fear of the ocean and of falling into the water, but thanks to the team's calm guidance and support, he overcame both and was surfing well a couple of times atleast. By the end of the lesson, he was smiling from ear to ear and said it was the best experience he had in Bali. Thank you for the extra coaching time as well. We will definitely be back for another session on our next trip to Bali!

This is my first time surfing and yes it was tiring but worth it . I have a great coach which is very cool guy Adi . what a great shot from a professional photographer. kudos

Location: Kuta waves are perfect for beginners to learn surfing. Experience: Very good first experience. Instructor: Very responsible, with detailed explanations. Accompanied us throughout the whole session to ensure safety and provided timely guidance.

The surfing lesson experience was fantastic! The instructor was patient and thorough, allowing even beginners to quickly pick it up. They taught us how to stand up and balance step-by-step. The ocean conditions were just right, and the teaching pace was comfortable. By the end of the lesson, I successfully stood up and rode a wave, which was incredibly fulfilling. It's great value for money, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bali who wants to learn how to surf!

An excellent experience!! This time, I didn't choose the two highly-hyped places on Xiaohongshu, but found this one which felt more authentic. I went with my mom, and the instructors were all very enthusiastic and patient with their teaching. They took extra care of my mom, who, at 60, surfed for the first time in her life. It was a fantastic experience! We couldn't stop thinking about it, so we changed our plans and came back to Up2U for two more lessons. Next time I come to Kuta to surf, I'll definitely come back here!
