Shirakawa-go Winter Light-Up and Hida Takayama Day Trip Bus Tour (From Nagoya)

We first went to Takayama old town (sufficient time). Not bad for the first time…The morning market is already closed by noon (we reached around 1plus). It is ok to miss the morning market (a stretch of shops & pop-up stalls selling food, souvenirs etc) as I later went (Takayama Morning Market) on my own trip. As for Shirawakago, the trip is very good as u get to get both day & night Shirakawago. it would be excellent if this trip include the Observation Deck (as stated not included in the trip) but on the other hand, it will be extremely rush if it is included (maybe shorten the Takayama time or forgo the Takayama). The dinner (included in the trip) was extremely on the hida beef don.

It is a very good tour, very impressive. Traveling to the meeting point is not difficult. Go up to the 4th floor and you will find a counter for easy registration. The guide uses English to provide clear information throughout the trip. Going to each point exactly as scheduled. The stops on the expressway include milk, ice cream, and yogurt, all delicious, as the guide said. Stopped at Takayama. There was a lot of food. There were also brochures recommending famous dishes. When we arrived at Shirakawago we stopped for a delicious meal. Then you can walk around as you please. There is very good privacy. The village lights are on, very beautiful. But we didn't go up to the viewpoint at the top. This was already stated in the tour details from the beginning. You can walk only below the village, 10/10.

Tour and guide is very good. I have impressed in this travelling. Easy and comfortable. Tour arranged time suitable. Good food in Shirakawa Go restaurant. Reccomened don't miss this tour.

Klook's instructions for going to the meeting point are clear, don't rush around to find it, the check-in and registration department is the leader, assigned seats, arrive on time, and there are English explanations along the way. When we arrived in Gaoshan City, the tour guide led us to the old streets, where we spent more than 2 hours eating and playing. Since I would go to Shirakawa-go for an early dinner to give me more time to explore, I only ate at street stalls in Takayama City. Before dinner at 4 o'clock, everyone can move around freely. I took a photo before sunset, lit up the lights and parked another photo. We gathered and left at 7:00, so there was enough time for sightseeing. However, I couldn’t sign up for a group to go to the observatory. This group does not include the observatory.

This tour make my time is wonderful. Bus Guilding time is suitable. Udon and rice have a good test. We roam at the Takayama tour byself and back to the bus in meeting time. We traveled to Shirakawa Go in the evening and shoping gift from many shop . We saw beautiful time when light up . We impressed this tour and good guide . they take care us very well.

The weather was sunny that day and not as cold as expected. Surrounded by ice and snow, it is very beautiful to see the snowy scenery of the mountains and Shirakawago. When I arrived at Shirakawa-go, it was getting dark very quickly and there were so many people there that it was difficult to take beautiful photos. And be careful of the icy ground, which is very slippery. The tour guides in Japanese and English are very friendly. There are only four lighting events this year, which is a rare experience.

The itinerary was quite satisfactory. First go to Takayama Old Street for about two hours of free time. This time includes lunch at your own expense, but I recommend not to eat too much, because after getting on the bus, it takes about an hour to drive to a restaurant next to Shirakawa Township. After dinner, it was actually only about 5:30. If you move quickly, you can still take in the beautiful scenery of Shirakawa-go during the day before it gets dark. All in all, it was a satisfying trip

During the itinerary, we first visited the mountains and then visited the mountains of Shirakawa-go. We had two hours of free time and even had a little time to eat. It was barely enough. Then we went to Shirakawa-go to have dinner. The beef was delicious. Then we went to Shirakawa-go to take pictures in free time. It took about two hours and still enough time for Shirakawa. The day view of the snowy countryside feels more beautiful than the night view. The only drawback is that you cannot go to the observation deck, otherwise you can feel the shock of those online photos. Overall, it is a good experience.

Although the introduction is in Japanese and English, it can be seen that he is still very serious about wanting everyone to have a good time. He also made good time and did not rush to the market, so he had a great time. Unfortunately, he did not buy the lookout package. Tickets for Taiwan do not give you the sense of fairy tales that everyone sees on postcards, but in fact, walking around in the rooms below is very much like being in a European fairy tale house, except that there is no falling snow, which is a pity that it is not cold enough.
