Fantastic 5.0
I loved this museum and of course we got to see Nefertiti and the Berlin gold hat! For me, this is an outstanding museum. If you love history and arts, you will definitely love this. To see an actual papyrus and things that were used during ancient times were mind blowing. I highly recommend this museum.

It was a very shocking experience. Many precious Egyptian national treasures appeared before our eyes. The head of Nefertiti was so beautiful that it was amazing.

Simply present your mobile ticket at the entrance for scanning and entry. The Neues Museum in Berlin features remarkable exhibits, from the bust of Nefertiti to the Bronze Age gold hat, all clearly marked on the museum map available at the entrance. The flow of the exhibition is well-planned, making the visit very smooth, and the overall design is quite elaborate. Please note that while photography is permitted for most exhibits, flash photography is prohibited, and touching the glass is not allowed. It is recommended to allocate ample time to fully experience this museum, which combines both historical and artistic value.
Guide
- See the famous head of Tiye (one of the most influential women in ancient Egypt) and the bust of Nefertiti
- Walk around ancient archaeological finds from the Stone, Ice, Iron and Bronze ages - a guaranteed history lesson to remember
- Learn about ancient cultures, their daily lives and the art and tools that shaped their worlds, all in the middle of Berlin!
The impressive Neues Museum, located on Museum Island in Berlin, reopened its doors in 2009 after a big restoration, and marks the home of the 3,300-year-old bust of Egyptian queen Nefertiti - one of the most famous works of the ancient world. Get face-to-face with that ancient icon (and much, much more!). Step back into the ancient world with a visit to the Neues Museum. This recently restored building is rich in antiquities, curiosities, and mythology. Divide your time here between the two (equally fascinating) permanent exhibitions, Egyptian Museum and Papyrus Collection and Museum for Pre- and Early History.
