We enjoyed our hike very much. Our guide, Ali, is very professional - not only he introduced different plants and species to us - an educational but interesting part, but he also taught some less experienced hikers how to avoid from falling down when going down the hill and made sure that we had enough water breaks during the whole journey. Highly recommended it to everyone who wants some extraordinary outdoor experience in Langkawi, but we do have to bring the right sportswear!

The meeting point is right beside the Express Lane entrance, with the cover photo, so people can't miss it. Our tour guide Ali is a very nice guy, took lots of pictures for us during the hiking. We chose the beginner trail. It's a nice walk in the forest. It added more fun into the normal skybridge walk. The view is great at the bridge, and the 3D animation was beyong expectations. A lovely tour.

Even though I was on the beginner's course, I was able to have a really good hiking experience. Zaid really took care of everyone and guided us. I had a fun experience with interesting stories and information about plants and animals. I highly recommend it.

We had begun level accompanied with Zaid, he told us about variety of trees, animals, and history regarding Machinchang. He was kind and well informed about this area. It was a really great time to learn biodiversity and history. The weather was so perfect and the route is not that difficult to hike. But you should be careful about mosquitoes! so I recommend you guys to bring pesticide. Water and hike stick is provided, so bring some stuff like energy bar or something would be better. I'll try intermediate level for next visit. I highly recommend this program. I highly recommend it. Don’t just take the skycap, try hiking if you have time! But there are so many mosquitoes... you just have to be careful of mosquitoes and bugs. The beginner course is easy, so I recommend the intermediate course.

Try this, it's something different and interesting to do while in Langkawi. The beginner's trail is doable for casual hikers. The length of the jungle hike is less than 1KM but there are many staircase from the Skybridge to the Top Station. The guide will prepare a hiking stick for you if you do not have one. Our guide was Ali and he shared interesting information about the flora and fauna throughout the hike. A suggestion to book the earliest slot because it can get very hot and humid in the afternoon.

We did our booking the day before our hike and the process was smooth with immediate confirmation via email. We were lucky to have Ali as our guide. Ali is a jovial young man who speaks fluent English. But most importantly, he is very knowledgeable about the environmental aspect and the flora of the area. He is also very helpful and patient. The Beginner hike was enjoyable and the cable car ride was awesome. Well done!

The overall experience is great, got to see the panoramic view of Langkawi. Just go for the beginner trail for the experience if you are not a serious hiker.
