Langkawi SkyTrail Hiking and Cable Car Experience

never missed out this activity in Langkawi! we were on intermediate trail and it was superb! our guide, Zaid guided us through the trail according to our pace. zaid explained a fair bit of some of the flora and fauna along the way.

We enjoyed our hike very much. Our guide, Ali, is very professional - not only he introduced different plants and species to us - an educational but interesting part, but he also taught some less experienced hikers how to avoid from falling down when going down the hill and made sure that we had enough water breaks during the whole journey. Highly recommended it to everyone who wants some extraordinary outdoor experience in Langkawi, but we do have to bring the right sportswear!

Try this, it's something different and interesting to do while in Langkawi. The beginner's trail is doable for casual hikers. The length of the jungle hike is less than 1KM but there are many staircase from the Skybridge to the Top Station. The guide will prepare a hiking stick for you if you do not have one. Our guide was Ali and he shared interesting information about the flora and fauna throughout the hike. A suggestion to book the earliest slot because it can get very hot and humid in the afternoon.

The overall experience is great, got to see the panoramic view of Langkawi. Just go for the beginner trail for the experience if you are not a serious hiker.

We had begun level accompanied with Zaid, he told us about variety of trees, animals, and history regarding Machinchang. He was kind and well informed about this area. It was a really great time to learn biodiversity and history. The weather was so perfect and the route is not that difficult to hike. But you should be careful about mosquitoes! so I recommend you guys to bring pesticide. Water and hike stick is provided, so bring some stuff like energy bar or something would be better. I'll try intermediate level for next visit. I highly recommend this program. I highly recommend it. Don’t just take the skycap, try hiking if you have time! But there are so many mosquitoes... you just have to be careful of mosquitoes and bugs. The beginner course is easy, so I recommend the intermediate course.

We did our booking the day before our hike and the process was smooth with immediate confirmation via email. We were lucky to have Ali as our guide. Ali is a jovial young man who speaks fluent English. But most importantly, he is very knowledgeable about the environmental aspect and the flora of the area. He is also very helpful and patient. The Beginner hike was enjoyable and the cable car ride was awesome. Well done!

We enjoyed our beginner trail with our guide Ali. He will make stops along the trail to show and explain to us the flora and fauna in the forest. He is also patient and didn't rush us during our hike. It was a great experience and we wouldn't mind doing it again!

Recommended! We did the intermediate trail which was 2- 3 hours of climbing stairs to get to the middle Station. The guides were friendly, patient and cheerful! The package also includes the cable car on the way down, 3D art museum, SkyRex and SkyDome. Made for a day of great fun!

Mr Ali was very prompt and patient in responding to all our queries and even offered suggestions to make our trip there eventful. When we arrived at the meeting point, we had Mr Zaid as our personal guide. He is friendly, very knowledgeable, patient and provided detailed explanations on the various types of flora and fauna and its survival in their environment. The booking also included the Skycab cable car ride without having to wait for long. The cable car ride provided stunning views of the biodiversity below. In conclusion, the hiking trail offered an unforgettable experience that showcases the natural beauty of Langkawi and I highly recommend this package to those interested in nature and biodiversity.
