Reviews
I had such an amazing experience with the ski tour at Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort. Our instructor, Cho, was incredible. His encouragement and support really meant a lot, especially as I got more comfortable on the snow. He even told me I did not have to use the poles, which helped me focus more on balance and control. I genuinely enjoyed every minute. I think I did around 8 to 10 runs down the slope and honestly, I did not want to stop. I did not want the day to end. I was having so much fun that I even skipped lunch 😅 If you are thinking about trying skiing here, I highly recommend it. The instruction, the environment, and the overall experience were all top tier. I would absolutely do this again.
My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful time skiing here! It was my first time skiing and I honestly loved it way more than I expected. Our guide, Windsor, was super friendly and really helpful, especially with giving clear instructions throughout the experience. The ski equipment and suit were also really comfortable and well prepared. Overall, it was such a fun and memorable experience!! I definitely want to come back and go skiing here again! ⛷️❄️😋
Very fun tour! We're Group4 23/12/2025! Nam & Anthony was so helpful all the time. With Nam, the lesson was easy to understand and he helped alot with our ski studies 🤭Anthony was teaching snowboard and he was so kind to my two boys. Recommended! It was snowing today while we were skiing & snowboarding. Lucky guides!
Park and Anthony were amazing instrutors! Kudos to Anthony for being so patient with me while learning ski. Ur da best! The whole experience was awesome and unforgetable. I would book again the next time I’m in Korea. 🤍
First time skiing! After meeting in the morning, we took a tour bus to the ski clothing rental shop. The itinerary included ski jackets, ski pants, and ski boots, but protective gear still needs to be rented separately. For safety, the tour guide recommended renting as much as possible for insurance. My friend and I rented knee pads, helmets, and gloves (bought our own). Socks and face masks were also available for rent, so I recommend bringing about 100,000 Korean won in cash (per person). After arriving at the ski resort, we were divided into two groups (two boards/one board) to pick up equipment and receive instruction. First time skiing... of course you have to learn by falling! XD Then we learned the basics of how to ski and brake, but we needed to go to other Chuncheon attractions in the middle of our trip with friends, so we basically didn't have much time to ski. Thanks to the tour guide and customer service, after we begged, they let us continue skiing for a while after we came back, otherwise we would have really felt bad. As for Gu Bong Cafe Street, it's a beautiful place with scenery. I think it's a place where you can take a temporary break and see the scenery when you're tired of driving. And about skiing, I'm really bad. I kept falling and even though I braked, I kept sliding sideways, which made me feel scared. After trying many times, I simply took snow photos first haha. Overall it was still very fun and a cool experience!! But be prepared for your body to be super sore the next day, so don't put it on the first day of your trip! 😂 Finally, thank you to the tour guide, instructors, and customer service staff for their care.
Thank you to Coach and Guide Xiaogiang for patiently instructing us, the hearing-impaired students, in both roles. He not only demonstrated skiing techniques with body movements but also carefully taught us hand-in-hand. Special thanks to the female coach Shery, who took care of both visually and hearing-impaired friends. Hard work! There was also a coach who spoke fluent English, but I don't know his name. Thank you to him. In addition, the ski equipment store provides Chinese service, making it very convenient to change equipment. It is recommended that you bring your own waterproof gloves, hip protectors, and knee pads, as these are charged separately here. Skiing is a challenging adventure, a great experience! What does everyone like to eat at the ski resort restaurant when skiing? I'll start by sharing some tempting delicacies I encountered this time.
This was my first time skiing in Korea with my husband, and we decided to go straight for the cool snowboard. Coach Xiao Pang explained everything carefully, from the very beginning of putting on/wearing the snowboard, how to get up, and the tricks of skiing, sharing in a simple and easy-to-understand way why we should do it this way, and the possible risks of different methods. At first, the coach will help you get up and move forward, and after practicing, you can go to the beginner's slope to play by yourself~ Although you still fall after a short distance, after a few tries you slowly get a little bit of the feeling! I would like to come back to play again in the future ⛷️ Tour guide: Coach Xiao Pang (snowboard), Coach Haiyan (skis)
Peter made us enjoy the ski experience. it was hard but because if him, everything feels easy as a newbie! we will definitely come back next time. skiing is a great experience for a person who lives in a tropical country ☺️
I had a great experience with the team, they were very kind and understanding, even after I was almost left by my bus, They explained everything throughly. I’d definitely recommend Peter’s team to family and friends, and I believe that I’ll book again, I had the best experience, Ms Hailyn was very great with us when she was teaching us how to skii. Thank you.
Booked a basic skiing lesson through Klook, which included round-trip transfers from Seoul & ski instructor. Our pickup point was in Myeongdong & the travel time to the ski resort took almost 2 hours. We arrived at the rental shop around 10:45 AM. The ski pants & jackets were already included in the package. However, we weren’t informed in advance that helmets, gloves, and socks were not included. These had to be rented or purchased separately, and we ended up spending 110,000 KRW for gloves, socks, and helmet rental. It would’ve been better if this was clearly communicated beforehand so guests could prepare. We had 2 tour guides, Riker & Anthony, with Anthony being the main guide who explained the flow of the tour. He was very patient and taught us step by step, especially how to stop properly, which is the most crucial part of skiing. Once he saw that you’re confident, he allowed you to practice freely. The tour was very tiring but overall fun & enjoyable, especially for beginners.
