1-Day Tour Rangko Cave And Sabolo Island Snorkeling in Labuan Bajo

if you’re in Labuan Bajo and went to the famous sites, come take this tour after. scenes are breathtakingly beautiful. crystal clear waters, untouched Coral reefs and everything is private and intimate.

Our tour included 4 stops. The first stop, Sobolo (Le Pirate) island is about 1h boat ride from the harbor. The snorkeling is exceptional here. We snorkel all over the world. This place is on par with the best we have seen. The next stop is at Seraya Island. Snorkeling is solid, good, but not as good as at Sobolo. The next quick stop is at the beautiful tiny island of Pulau Tukohbele. While the island is very picturesque, snorkeling is non-existent here. No corals, almost no fish. The next and final stop is Rangko Cave. A short trail leads up to the cave entrance. You can swim and dive in the salt water pool inside. The cave is beautiful. Overall, it is an excellent way to spend a day in Labuan Bajo beyond a typical Komodo tour. The timing: start at 7:00am, by 4:30 we were back in the harbor.

Very nice tour, 3 different snorkeling spots, coral condition good to very good, clear underwater visibility. The crew was very friendly and gave a lot of information. Finally, we visited the stalactite cave at the right time when the sunlight shines in. I would book it again at any time.

The private tour with children was a success. Our guide, Dedi, was genuinely kind and went above and beyond to make sure the child was comfortable and having fun. If we come to Labuan Bajo again, we would definitely choose this tour again.

Ricky was a warm and helpful guide. He made sure that our family was comfortable during the trip out. He answered to our questions asked and is knowledgeable with information. He always took the lead and was encouraging. He assured and ensured our safety at the Rangko cave. The captain of the boat watched out for the safety of my husband and kids where the current was too strong at the waters where they snorkeled too. The whole trip was paced according to our pace. A very private tour. We didn’t expect to be having lunch at a nice resort on an island. Thought that it will be packed lunch boxes.

I had an awesome trip with a great guide, although my first impression was not ideal due to the small, slightly rundown and noisy boat. However, if you enjoy a slow-paced and relaxing trip, this is the one for you. We got to experience some excellent snorkeling at secluded and cozy islands, and the lunch provided was a delightful surprise. After embarking on one of the islands, we enjoyed a meal at a lovely beachfront restaurant. Although the return journey took some time, my family and I had a fantastic conversation without any interruptions, thanks to the absence of Wi-Fi.

Picked up on time, long wooden putt putt boat clean, good condition. Our guide Norris was a sweety and absolutely made the day with his cheeky jokes. First island 1 hour ride, tied up to jetty and completed a drift snorkel. Saw bait balls, small black tipped reef sharks, coral, small fish and a large puffer fish. Next to Rangko Cave, took 1.5 hrs on boat, a jetty, a very short walk to Cave. Descending into the water to swim was tricky on slippery wet rock steps and no hand rails. Onto our next island, 1 hr ride, small and no jetty and a low tide. Tricky if not fit, especially getting back on. Lovely shallow snorkel with some coral. By the time we reached the 4th island it was quite rough. Took 15 mins. If prone to sea sickness it would have got you. the 4th island provided very poor visibility due to the wind and waves so just had a swim. Again no jetty. One hr home. Food was cooked and great. We loved the day and would recommend to others. Thanks Norris and boat crew.

I came with my husband, but it was comfortable and nice to tour with only two people without anyone else. I was satisfied with each snorkeling point, and the local guide (ricky) was very kind. It was fun during the day tour to Komodo the day before, but I thought it was too hard, but this tour felt like healing.

They took great care of us and the food provided was great. It's a tour I want to go on again. I highly recommend it.
