Hualien: Mambo Star Sand Dune Buggy: Sky Mirror Sand Dune Buggy Experience

This morning, we went early to experience the Sky Mirror ATV ride that we had booked. You can purchase packages on Klook, with options for one person per ATV, two people per ATV, or a coach-driven ATV. We opted for one person per ATV and chose Mambo Star ATV. There were three other groups in our session. Our coach was Hualien's G-Dragon! You might have seen the blonde guy leading the way and showing off in the video – that's Coach GD! He was super funny and even spoke a few Cantonese phrases when he found out we were from Hong Kong. Klook offers several ATV companies, but only Mambo Star provides train station pick-up and drop-off, which is a godsend for those without a car. It was perfect for us because the location is quite remote, and it would be hard to hail a taxi. I highly recommend Hualien Mambo Star ATV for anyone without a car.

We booked a four-person ATV experience on Klook, with the instructor driving our whole family. We were supposed to do it yesterday, but it was postponed due to bad weather. The instructor was very helpful in coordinating everything, and we're really grateful! Today, we set off while the weather was good. At the beginning of the activity, the instructor helped us take beautiful "Sky Mirror" photos. Even though it was super hot, we just had to follow the instructor's instructions to pose and we were able to take super dreamy photos! Next was the ATV experience. The instructor adjusted the level of excitement according to our age and condition. Not only did the kids have a great time, but even my 70-something-year-old mother was full of praise! They also provided ice water, hair nets, masks, and helmets on-site. The entire team of instructors was professional and attentive, and they also helped take photos to commemorate the occasion. They maintained excellent service even in the hot weather. We're really happy we chose Manbo Star, and we also want to thank Instructor Yoyo and all the instructors for bringing us a fun, exciting, and wonderful ATV trip! Highly recommended for those who haven't experienced it yet!

The Sky Realm instructor will patiently guide the movements and help you take beautiful photos. The beach car driving instructor is also patient and attentive, so that this experience is absolutely safe and enjoyable to enjoy the bumps and speed. It is very exciting and fun.

From the contact, the pick-up at Xincheng Railway Station, to the ride, everything was smooth and safe. The ride was exciting and fun. At the end, there were a bunch of high-resolution photos taken as souvenirs. It was so much fun.

The ATV ride was super fun and exciting! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire experience. We didn’t have to wait long, which was a big plus. After the ride, we were offered cold water and refreshing lemon juice — such a thoughtful touch! The shower facilities were also very clean and convenient. And let me tell you — the photography skills are incredible! Ohh, the pictures came out so beautiful! They really captured the adventure perfectly. I highly recommend trying the ATV if you're ever in Hualien — it’s an unforgettable experience!

There's a free shuttle from Xincheng Station, and the ATV was a lot of fun and totally worth it. The instructor helped us take lots of beautiful photos, which was great. Also, the photos taken at the Mirror of the Sky were beautiful and unique, making it a really fun experience.

So interesting and fun! The instructor's photography skills are top-notch, and he will also guide body movements and expressions to take the best souvenir photos. The ATV ride is so thrilling, with many curves and slopes designed to take advantage of the beautiful sea to take the best photos! The coach is great at taking photos and can provide technical guidance 👍 It is recommended to wear shorts made of hard material for the beach buggy, which will not rub the flesh. Sand and water may use the calves. You must wear glasses or sunglasses to prevent sand and dust. Overall it is very fun. The coach will take pictures during the process and pay attention to our speed and safety. If you encounter a slow coach, he will adjust its position or report it to the coach so that you can have fun!

Super fun! It was quick and easy to learn. We felt very safe with guides near by if help was needed. We went to a gorgeous beach spot with a few created trails and lots of open beach to let us play ! great value!

SO MUCH FUN!!! Highly highly recommend. This was such a highlight of our trip, the ATV’s were easy to use and we had no issue understanding instructions (even with a language barrier). The ATV ride was absolutely stunning with the beach and Mountain View’s and it was a lot of fun riding in our small group. We got given lots of free time to ride around ourselves and take photos too so it wasn’t solely a guided ride. There is also a dog there who runs along with you on your ATV tour and is super cute. I did the tour mainly for the ATV but there’s also an additional part where the instructors take cute photos of you with a mirror reflection. They tell you what poses to do and I honestly loved looking at the photos afterwards. I think this is an absolute MUST DO and I’ll be recommending this to anyone that comes to Taiwan!
