There’s a poster with QR code to purchase tickets online but it’s in Japanese! Luckily we could get the entrance tickets via Klook’s platform. So easy!! If you are in Odawara already,, the castle is a good activity to do.

Fun place to explore - for at least half a day - the district around the castle is quite big and had a reknowned shrine along the back. The history museum was impressive and you can get cheap and fun souvenirs. Definitely buy the Klook tickets as it lets you skip the queue for the tickets which can get quite long. The views are also quite impressive. You can pay for additional entry to a ninja experience museum and try on Samurai suites when it’s not too busy or raining

It was a very quaint tour of the castle's history and the artifacts in it. The place is uphill and the castle has 5 floors. Be ready in climbing a lot of stairs. But it will be worth it. After that, you can take a rest on Kinjirou Cafe or the tea house infront.

Then Odawara Castle is worth visiting, especially the view of the surrounding scenery from the castle tower is really great, and the surrounding living functions are also very convenient, super good

Great opportunity to explore Japanese history. While not the tallest castle, Odawara Castle and grounds are simply stunning. During cherry blossom season, all the trees bloom at the same time and there’s a large courtyard with snack vendors. Great views of the Bay Area and on clear days you can see Tokyo and Kawasaki.

Come visit the Odawara Castle, an impregnable castle designated as a national historic site! This ticket includes entrance to the castle tower.
At the top floor, you can see the Sagami Bay, and on a clear day, you can even see Izu Oshima and the Boso Peninsula.
In the park, you can enjoy various flowers and plants throughout the season, such as cherry blossoms, wisteria, irises, and plums.
The children's amusement park in Odawara Joshi Park has bean trains, battery cars, and other playground equipment that can be enjoyed by families.

Odawara Castle is a symbol of Odwara City. It was as an impregnable castle owned by the Hojo clan, the samurai family who governed Kanto region for about a century from the end of 15th century. Since then, the castle became a reserve for Hakone and Tokaido route and functioned as a cornerstone of defense in the region. The castle has renewed in 2016 after the completion of a seismic retrofit and renewal of the exhibition inside.
