recently had the pleasure of visiting this hot spring in Taiwan, and it was absolutely worth it! The facility features three large hot spring pool, each offering different temperatures, along with one refreshing cold pool. This variety allowed for a truly customizable experience. The ambiance was fantastic; it was incredibly relaxing and serene. I visited on a Saturday, but surprisingly, the place wasn’t too crowded, which made it even more enjoyable. Overall, my experience at this hot spring was wonderful. If you're looking for a peaceful escape, I highly recommend this spot!

A rainy day in early October is a bit chilly, perfect for a hot spring experience. It's conveniently located near Xinbeitou MRT station. The indoor space is reasonably large, with one hot spring and one cold spring pool. The sauna temperature is well-controlled, and the cold room is a novel first-time experience. The outdoor pool temperature is comfortable, and there are wooden lounge chairs for relaxation. Overall, at a price of $420, the value for money is quite good!

Inside, there's a hot pool and a cold pool. Up the steps, there's a semi-outdoor pool. It's very cold today at only 11 to 13 degrees Celsius. When I went at noon, I was the only one there. When I left at 2 PM, there were only three customers in total. It's comfortable and relaxing to soak when there are few people. The shower facilities have three shower heads, and the others are rain showers. The problem is that all three shower heads didn't have hot water today. Since I didn't need to wash my hair there, it wasn't convenient to use the rain showers. The temperature of the semi-outdoor pool is higher, which I thought was pretty good. There are also deck chairs nearby, all in Thai style. The indoor pool has a strange smell, not quite like sulfur, maybe the smell of old wood. The advantage is that there are very few people on weekdays, so it was still a pleasant time.

It’s near Xinbeitou Station. At reception, they’ll tell you where to put your shoes and hand you a locker key on a bracelet. Inside the locker are large and small towels. You’re expected to clean yourself thoroughly—not just rinse—before entering the pool. Free shampoo and body wash are provided, along with shared slippers. The hot spring requires full nudity; you may use a small towel to cover yourself, but it should be placed on your head or poolside once you enter. The water is comfortably hot, though it may take some adjustment. For safety, limit each soak to 15 minutes, then rest before re-entering. The pool is small—at the time, there were 5–7 guests sharing it, which felt manageable. Keep voices low. Upstairs is a hotter pool with natural light and a transparent roof, suitable for foot soaking. Afterward, rinse off and get dressed. Free tea is available, with hot/cold water dispensers. Stay hydrated. Return the locker key at reception. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

The overall feeling is comfortable. There are indoor and outdoor hot spring pools, sauna rooms, cold rooms, etc., but the place is a bit old and the area is relatively small. The service staff auntie explained things very clearly, but her attitude was a bit impatient.

It's close to the MRT station. Towels are provided. Lockers are free. Drinking water is also available. The pools are clean and the water is hot. It's acceptable.

An additional 80 yuan is charged for on-site purchases in winter, which is a bit inconvenient. It would be better if there were two separate prices.

This location is very close to the MRT station, just a short walk away. The nude bathing areas are separated for men and women. When I visited, it wasn't crowded. After a soak, you can relax in the sofa area downstairs, which is very comfortable. However, there was a power outage in the building, and the indoor lights suddenly went out. There are lounge chairs outdoors for relaxing after a hot spring bath on a sunny day. If it's raining, it doesn't offer full shelter, so the downstairs sofa area becomes the main space for activities.

Perhaps because we visited on a weekday, we experienced the private facilities with our family. There weren't many baths, but there was an open-air bath, which was nice. The staff was also very friendly. Towels, shampoo, wash, hair dryer, etc. were all provided, and it was clean and nice.

Pros: The water is truly beautiful and very clean. Since there are no tourists, most of the visitors are locals. I had the place to myself for an hour, which was very relaxing. The ice-cold pool was incredibly refreshing, and alternating between hot and cold was fantastic. The outdoor area was also very comfortable, though a bit too hot for me, so I returned indoors. The entire place has a Thai-style decor. Although it has some history, it's very well-maintained and clean; the towels were even cleaner than those at my hotel. Cons: It's a bit dated, and the lighting is dim. However, as someone who enjoys peace and quiet, I would definitely come back because the water quality is excellent, and the cold water is very invigorating. It's clear that it's very clean.
