What to expect
Make the most of your trip to Ho Chi Minh City with a full day tour that allows you to discover the best of the city, and takes you to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, the very same tunnels that played an integral part in the Vietnam-American war. Choose from three different tours depending on whether you want a pick up service, or how big you want your tour group size to be. On the day of your tour, start the day early with a pick up from your hotel or by meeting up with the rest of the tour group. The first leg of your tour will be the city tour. Visit some of the most popular sites, including the Reunification Palace, a top choice for travelers who are looking to dig up some of Vietnam's history. Next up: Notre Dame Cathedral, which was established by French colonists in the 1860s. Famous for its beautiful French-inspired architecture, and towering bell towers that reach 190 feet, it's truly a sight to behold. Afterwards, you'll be taken to the Central Post Office, then the War Remnants Museum for a more in-depth look at the history and culture of Vietnam. From there, you'll take a 2.5 hour drive all the way to Cu Chi Tunnels. Crawl through the tight tunnels, walk around the subterranean village built by the Viet Cong and learn more about the Vietnam-American war. Before you head back to the city, indulge in some delicious snacks - a fantastic way to end a fulfilling and busy day.

Dan was the best! I don’t usually enjoy history tours because they can be boring, but Dan was so informative and entertaining. I felt like it wasn’t just a history lesson, but also a personal retelling of the impact of time and how everything still affects the current state. Absolute best tour guide around!
Heidi was a great guide. She explained everything really well. The lunch served was also very good. The visits to each of the destinations were very smooth. Starting from the war remnants museum and ending with the cuchi tunnels everything was great! I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone.
We had a meaningful and well-organized tour of Ho Chi Minh City and the Cu Chi Tunnels with our guide, Patrick. He shared not just facts but also stories that gave us a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s history, especially the difficult years of the Vietnam War. Although the Independence Palace was closed during our visit, Patrick and his team quickly adjusted and brought us to the Ho Chi Minh Museum instead. I strongly recommend including the Cu Chi Tunnels in this tour, it’s an eye-opening experience to see where Vietnamese people hid underground to survive and it gives you a deeper appreciation of resilience and life itself. Only small room for improvement: the serving time of lunch at the local restaurant was a bit long. But overall, everything was well worth it. Just be ready. Some stories of the war can be heartbreaking, but they will leave you with respect, admiration, and gratitude for the Vietnamese people and their strength.
Our HCM city tour and Cu chi tunnel is very good and amazing. I would like to commend our tour guide, Abe/Abraham as he is very knowledgeable with the tour especially in Cu Chi Tunnel. All the questions were answered and he’s very accommodating. Timing is just right and with this tour, you will be able to go to beautiful places in Ho Chi Minh and learned a lot especially about Vietnam war. We enjoyed this trip. Thank you!
This was the highlight of our Vietnam stay! Our tour guide, Dang Desmond, was truly an expert. We appreciated every site we visited because of all the stories Desmond shared. We had enough time to roam the areas and take photos if needed. We were also very much delighted w/ the lunch that was served to us. Highly recommended!
Tour was well planned through the must-see historic places of Ho Chi Minh City until noon and cu chi tunnels in the afternoon. It was a small group. Our tour guide was Kevin and he was knowledgeable, caring, informative and witty. His English was fluent and clear. The car was A/C'ed and comfortable, but without charging ports (if that matters). Overall it was worth and amazing experience!
such an amazing experience. the war museum was full of great information and lots of heavy emotions. my tour guide Tom was great with answering any questions I had. the visit to the Post office was super short. and the cathedral is shut done for construction. the cu chi tunnels were fun as we got to explore and learn a lot about underground living and traps. PRO TIP: I think I would opt out of the city tour since it’s easy to go on my own. focus only on cu chi tunnel tour as the journey to get there takes two hours !!
The city tour was a bit short with only 4 sites but Nicky, our tour guide made it up by telling us the history of each site. Everytime we have questions to her outside the tour sites, she still answered us. The Cuchi Tunnels tour was fantastic even with the rain. The choice of restaurant was also amazing with delicious vietnamese food.
The Ho Chi Minh City and Cu Chi Tunnel day tour offers a captivating blend of history and culture. Exploring Ho Chi Minh City, visitors are treated to a vibrant urban experience, with bustling markets, impressive architecture, and rich street food. The tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels then takes you deep into the past, showcasing the resilience of the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War, making it a must-do excursion for history enthusiasts.
Didn't think I would enjoy this tour as much as I did. The war remnants museum really hit hard emotionally. The Cuchi Tunnels was such a unique experience. We were able to really able to learn about the history of Saigon and Vietnam as a country. Be ready to walk a lot on this tour. Wear comfortable clothes. And for the Cu Chi tunnels, make sure you bring insect repellant. Our tour guide, Jack, was amazing! He is very informative, he told us so much stuff but it was not boring at all. He is also very friendly and even gives us recommendations on where to shop and eat. Booking this tour was a great choice!
