What to expect
The Shen'ao Cape in Ruifang, New Taipei City, features unique landforms and geological phenomena, including the "Prehistoric Giant - Elephant Trunk Rock" and the "Coastal Guardian - Chief Rock." The seawater here is clear, and the ecosystem is rich. The terrain consists of alternating shale and sandy shale, which has been sculpted by the waves into a spectacular 35-meter-high sea cave. Especially when viewed from sea level by canoe or SUP, you can truly appreciate the wonders of nature!

Good to know
- For safety reasons, the tour leader/instructor reserves the right to change the route or terminate the activity depending on weather conditions (meteorological, marine). Tours may also be canceled due to strong winds and waves on the day. Safety is our top priority. Please do not register if you cannot accept this.
- During the activity, please follow the instructor's directions. If you do not follow the instructor's guidance or warnings, the instructor reserves the right to immediately terminate the activity to prevent accidents, and no refund will be given.
- If weather conditions change during the activity (such as common afternoon thunderstorms in the summer), the instructor may terminate the activity. You can make up the hours next time, but no refund will be given.
- Once the activity has begun on the water, if you experience seasickness, vomiting, discomfort, or crying children, the instructor can take you back to shore, but no refund will be given.
- Domestic (Taiwanese) tourists, please provide your National ID number; you do not need to fill in your passport number.

The meeting point is very close to the parking lot, the coaches are friendly and good at photography, the weather is also very good, and the canoe is easier and more fun than expected!

It was a fun and exciting experience, and the coach was incredibly helpful and kind. The teaching instructions were concise and clear, and the coach also took some beautiful photos for us. We had a 3-year-old toddler with us who had a fantastic time. While we were snorkeling, the coach took great care of him, playing with water and swimming together. We highly recommend this place!
I called the day before to say that I was canceling the trip because I was the only one to sign up, and that I would be refunded. However, this trip was always displayed on the website and it did not seem to be cancelled. I called the day after and asked, and he said that it would not be so soon and would have to wait two or three days. A few days later I called again and he said he would check again, but it has been more than a week and still no refund. Please pay me back…..
Overall it was good, snorkeling was great. But the trunk was broken, and the elephant shape could not be seen: it was not explained clearly, and some people might go to see this elephant shape specifically.
Although it was a bit tiring to get up early and go out on the morning, it was really great to see the beautiful scenery!
To go to Elephant Trunk Rock, you must see it from the sea to make it worthwhile. Also because I have children, I choose an entry-level canoe, and the pork coach is a good choice. well! I can only be thankful that I will be able to visit during the summer vacation in July 2023.
Teaching with heart, you can choose snorkeling. Canoes are great fun!
The coach is very good, he taught us very hard, and he can choose whether to snorkel or not. Highly recommend!
