Reviews
Although coastal conditions were moderate due to the enhanced Southwest Monsoon and the effects of Tropical Storm Domeng, our island-hopping tour was safe and enjoyable. Our heartfelt thanks to our boatmen and guides, Eric and Gabriel, for their kindness, patience, and exceptional assistance to our PWD daughter during boarding and disembarking. We also thank the people of Balicasag Island for their help and support—a true display of Filipino Bayanihan. The return trip to Panglao was challenging due to rough seas, but Eric and Gabriel remained calm, professional, and focused on our safety. Their skill and dedication gave us confidence throughout the journey. They even apologized for our delayed return, though the weather was beyond anyone's control. Seeing dolphins in their natural habitat was a wonderful bonus. The food at Balicasag was excellent, our snorkeling guides captured great memories, and swimming at the Virgin Island sandbar was a highlight. Highly recommended!
The tour is amazing, we get to see dolphins at 7AM! We went straight ahead to Balicasag Island and saw turtles, marine life is breath taking. Last stop was Virgin Islands - equally beautiful. Entire experience was so worth it. Bring Water and sunscreen!
Definitely worth your time and money! Guides went above and beyond with assisting my senior citizen mom through all the stops. They were very patient with her and even helped her to snorkel as it was her first time - at 70 years old! We were able to see the dolphins, snorkel with fish and the pawikan. Lunch at Balicasag Island was great - grilled chicken, buttered shrimp, rice, and mango. Great way to cap off the trip.
Here is a simple review for your Panglao Island hopping experience: Panglao Island Hopping: A Slice of Tropical Paradise Exploring the islands around Panglao was an absolute delight. The crystal-clear waters, pristine beaches, and diverse marine life made for an unforgettable day on the water. Snorkeling was a highlight, as we were able to see an abundance of colorful fish and vibrant coral reefs. The boat ride between the different islands was also a treat, with stunning limestone cliffs and lush greenery lining the shores. Overall, the Panglao Island hopping tour provided a wonderful glimpse into the natural beauty of this region of the Philippines. It was a great way to immerse ourselves in the island's tranquil ambiance and rich ecosystem. Definitely a must-do for anyone visiting Bohol!

Except for waiting for the boat for almost 30 minutes when leaving, it was overall satisfactory. I didn't see any dolphins, but snorkeling in Balicasag Island was really the best. I swam in the ocean like an aquarium, and Balicasag's boatman? The guide went around to several places to show me turtles. It was really nice to see turtles right in front of my eyes. As for Virgin Island... I don't know why I went there. The long sandy beach is nice, but it's an island that's not managed at all.
The driver arrived on time and dropped us to a place and changed tricycle to the pier. Have to walk a bit onto seawater with seaweeds to get into the boat. We first went to virgin island, nice place for photo taking but our guide didn’t come down and we two asked other guides to take photos of us. Then very soon go to the other island to see coral, fish n sea turtle. The island is super busy with lots of visitors. Glad that he water is still very clean with lots of sea coral fish n sea turtle to see. We back a bit early. When we arrived at the pier was around 11.
Great experience. They’re on-time with the schedule. It’s a hassle-free experience. Me and my husband also tried the scuba diving in Balicasag island.
I really enjoyed the tour, pick up was on time and we set of to our destinations. Due to the weather the tour was little shorter than on the itinerary from 6am to 2pm, and we missed Virgin Island as I believe it is closed for conservation efforts. All in all it was worth it and I’d do it again if I am ever back to Panglao-Bohol.
The tour driver arrived early and I didn't have to wait. Our boatmen were very friendly. I enjoyed the tour.
