This tour was informative and fun! Jagan our driver/tour guide knew a lot about Melaka and was able to introduce the sights very well. He was also very good photographer! River cruise and trishaw was fun as well. Afternoon well spent.
Fantastic Malacca Day Trip Night Tour: My recent day trip to Malacca from Kuala Lumpur, booked through Klook, was made truly memorable thanks to our guide, Mr. Jaya. From the moment we were picked up, Mr. Jaya's warm hospitality and engaging personality set the tone for a fantastic day. Mr. Jaya's knowledge of Malacca's history and culture is truly impressive. He brought the city's stories to life, answering all our questions with enthusiasm and depth. He didn't just show us the sights; he made us feel like we were experiencing the heart of Malacca. Mr.Jaya took us to St Peter’s church which was his recommendation and also we had tea in Little India of Malacca. It was a really memorable experience. The highlights of the tour was exploring the vibrant street art scene, the evening vibe of the Dutch square, the Trisaw ride and last but not the least the informative, relaxing and vibrant River Cruise ride. Mr. Jaya took us to some hidden gems and shared insights into the artists and their work. It was a unique and fascinating experience. Throughout the day, Mr. Jaya went above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. He was attentive to our needs, offered helpful recommendations, and even made sure we got to try some delicious local food. Thanks to Mr. Jaya, our day trip to Malacca was not just a sightseeing tour, but a truly enriching and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, engaging, and hospitable guide in Malacca.
It was a great tour this one. 2 hours peaceful drive from Buktit Bintag. Started with a story from place to place in Melaka. The guide/Driver Mr. Sritharan was a great host that day. he gave an entire background on the city, starting from 1500s.. He explained a lot and took us to different places. Man, he knows Melaka a lot since he was born there. Thanks to him again. We were picked at 2 pm and dropped at hotel at 10pm exact. highlights are river cruise at 7PM, Trishaw ride and walk on the Jonker street..
Originally, this tour was supposed to be for multiple groups, but it happened that only the two of us had applied, so we were lucky to get a special tour for just the two of us. Since we traveled by car instead of bus, the ride was not as comfortable as the pass, but our guide, Sri, was very nice and reliable, and during the tour, he carefully explained the history of Malacca, as well as historical buildings and World Heritage sites. I was worried because there was no explanation about dinner in the tour description before booking, but we were able to have dinner freely during the 1.5 hours of free time at John Carr Street. The river cruise was wonderful because we could see the cityscape for quite a long time. Also, the rickshaw was very flashy, and although it was embarrassing, it was quite fun. The rickshaw driver even went out of his way to play Japanese songs for us Japanese people. Although it was a two-hour trip one way, I think we were able to spend a very fulfilling time. Thank you, Sri.
The tour guide will drive a minibus to each hotel to pick up passengers, and then take a 2-hour drive. Along the way, he will introduce some history and buildings in English. After arriving in Malacca, he will also drive around the nearby attractions, introduce the historic sites to eat in their respective activities or take 3 rounds Car, wait for 7 o’clock to combine with the cruise ship and then return. Thank you Mr. ben for his kind explanation and help. If you don’t understand, you will explain to us in Chinese😂
I think the evening tour is the best in Malacca. I arrived around 4 o'clock and looked around the historical sites with the guide's explanation, and it was great to have about an hour of free time on Jonker Street. At sunset, I took a tricar and took a quick tour of the neighborhood. The highlight of the trip was taking a river cruise and enjoying the spectacular sunset and night view together, which was romantic. I think a night tour is the answer to Malacca!
Mr. Ragu is very efficient in sharing infos with melaka's rich history. i am very happy for him having the initiative to take our family photos because we are shy to ask him. very nice and friendly tour guide. smooth sailing tour the only thing that made it abit dragging is the waiting line for the river cruise , but its all worth it seeing the lights and have a breath of cold air while we are at the ride . trishaw ride is very fun! my family enjoyed the trip! thank you!
it was good experience. Driver Hamish was friendly and helpful. He covered all places mentioned in the package. must try for new comer specially on Friday as they have market on that day.
Our trip to malacca was not what we expected. First the trip was at least 2 hours long in each direction, but 3 on our return to Kl. Our driver/guide was quite knowledgeable about Malacca. The town was not what we expected and seemed to be more of a tourist trap - souvenir shops everywhere. The river 🚢 cruise at sunset was perhaps the best part as colored lights made the ride more enjoyable. The downside was a smelly river. All in all, the trip was not worth the cost and travel time.
Our recent trip to Malacca left much to be desired, as it didn't quite meet our expectations. From the onset, the discomfort began with our driver/guide, whose driving style left much to be desired. The journey, lasting 2.30 hours each way, was far from smooth, making the travel experience rather unpleasant. While our driver was knowledgeable about Malacca, the town itself failed to live up to our expectations, feeling more like a tourist trap with souvenir shops lining every corner. The river cruise and rickshaw rides provided a brief respite from the underwhelming town atmosphere. Yet, even these highlights were marred by the unpleasant odor emanating from the river, detracting from the overall experience. Ultimately, the tour fell short of justifying its cost and the considerable travel time involved. While the river cruise and rickshaw rides offered fleeting moments of enjoyment, they were overshadowed by the overall underwhelming nature of the tour. Overall, our Malacca night tour with river cruise left us feeling dissatisfied and wishing for a more fulfilling experience.
