- Wear comfortable shoes. Stiletto heels, steel toe boots, sports cleats and other footwear that can damage mirrored flooring are not permitted.
- Dress appropriately to avoid unwanted exposure on glass and mirrored floors. SUMMIT recommend wearing pants, shorts or tights when possible.
- If visiting during the day, SUMMIT recommends bringing sunglasses.
- Please note that all SUMMIT tickets are timed. You MUST arrive at your scheduled time, which is indicated on your ticket. SUMMIT operates at full capacity. You might not be able to get in if arriving more than 20 minutes after the time indicated on your ticket
- Any late arrival is subject to availability and a rescheduling fee
- Outside food and beverage, smoking or e-cigarettes, large packages, suitcases, or weapons of any kind will not be permitted beyond the security checkpoint

Had a great time at this interactive observatory located next to Grand Central Terminal. There were three floors of exhibits to explore and the view of New York City was exceptional from this observatory. The room with the silver inflatable balls was the most memorable experience of all. I thought Summit One Vanderbilt is not different from the rest of the observation towers in NYC. I have already been to Empire State, The Edge, Top of the Rock and One World but each of them caters differently. I enjoyed the view, silver balloons and mirror concepts that they have put into their effect. overall, I was awesome and fantastic!

literally the coolest observation deck of all the ones i've visited. + most of it is indoors, except for the path to the exit. which was perfect for taking pics in winter in a controlled climate environment. also, it literally makes for the most insane pics and videos.

Perfect location to see most famous buildings and central park! The balls are balloons haha so a bit underwhelming honestly. Don’t expect it to look like a museum, it’s not that special if you ask me.

this is also a great experience. I got my digital picture as souvenir but it's okay not to get it. You can take pictures for 60seconds on the location where they took pictures of you. Furthermore, if you love art.. you will appreciate the mirrored design of the place. you can also see the Empire State Building

I think Summit One Vanderbilt is a must-visit to see the Empire State Building as well as the New York skyline. It’s located beside the Grand Central Station, which I also recommend visiting—either before or after, whichever works best for you. The experience inside Summit One was immersive and unique compared to other towers in New York, and I would choose this one if you can only visit one.
Tip: Bring sunglasses if you’re going during the day to protect your eyes.

We visited Summit One Vanderbilt with our ticket time at 8 PM. While the views were absolutely breathtaking and the immersive experience was truly unique, it was extremely crowded at that hour. It made it a bit difficult to fully enjoy the installations and take photos without a ton of people in the frame. That said, the overall experience was still fantastic—definitely a must-visit for the skyline views alone. Just be prepared for the crowds if you go during peak evening hours.
