Komodo Speedboat and Island Tour from Labuan Bajo

Boat Condition: The boat was in excellent condition! It was clean, safe, and there were no areas where one could get hurt. Oh! On days with choppy waves, I thought it would be great to have seatbelts, as there was a concern of falling off the chair even when sitting still at high speeds. :) Guide: Yoga briefed us on the tour itinerary and explained the rules to ensure safety and protect the tour sites. With a lively and positive vibe, he took great photos at each tour spot and naturally led conversations. During snorkeling, he guided my wife and me, who are not accustomed to swimming in the sea, by holding onto a life tube, allowing us to see beautiful corals, fish, turtles, and even sharks! I would definitely recommend him to friends planning a trip to Labuan Bajo! Itinerary: We visited Padar Island, Pink Beach, and Komodo National Park, then had lunch, stopped at a beautiful beach, and went snorkeling at Manta Point and Reef Point. The tour started at 6 AM and ended around 3:30-4 PM, which felt just right. :) Safety: We didn't have major concerns thanks to the professional boat driver and staff. However, it was a particularly windy day with rougher waves than usual. Although I don't usually get seasick, I felt a bit unwell today. Even if you don't typically experience seasickness, it would be wise to bring motion sickness medication.

The guide was very friendly, and it was really a very serene experience , different from anything I have experienced before. Our family really enjoyed it . We were lucky to have 5, 6 manta rays that day at the snorkelling spot , and we were swimming along with them , it felt like experiencing pure nature. It was the best snorkelling experience I ever had with clearest water and amazing corals and manta rays. The pink sand beach was an amazing unique experience as well. Be sure to dress up in your pinks for some awesome photos :). Komodo Island was optional and you can chose to go inside based on your preference . We did end up going in , and it was quite a scary experience , to see the Komodos up close though it is a controlled environment. We couldn’t get the boat shown in the picture due to some malfunction the previous day, but nevertheless, it was a really amazing experience.

If you’re planning to visit Komodo, I highly recommend booking with them. They have one of, if not the best boat tour in all of Labuan Bajo. The guides were incredibly friendly, professional, and experienced, which made the whole trip feel safe and enjoyable. Snacks and lunch were provided as well, and the overall experience was smooth from start to finish. Definitely a trip to remember — will return again!

Our trip to Padar island and pink beach was cancelled due to bad weather but it is operator’s fault. Instead we went to Rinca island and snorkelling near Kelor Island. We were lucky to spot so many komodos in Rinca island and saw the mantas during snorkelling. We also see 2 see turtles and a beautiful coral reef. This trip is very recommended and the soeed boat was very comfortable with aircon.

I really enjoyed this day trip! Our guide, “F,” was incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English, making the experience even more enjoyable. The itinerary was well thought out and didn’t feel rushed at all. I really appreciated the ample time given at each stop to explore and take in the surroundings. Overall, a fantastic and well-organized tour—I’d highly recommend it!

It was great experience! absolutely loved all locations. Ghusti and the whole crew were reqlly friendly and attentive. Ghusti explained things very well, and took us snorkelling above coral reef which was absolutely stunning. We also saw Mantas and turttles as well as magestic Komodo dragons. We also had to catch a flight to Bali right after the tour and Aleyah assisted for us to be dropped of at the airport, which was really helpful! Could not recommend this tour more!

A well-organized and very eventful excursion! It was hard to climb up to the first point, but the views from the mountain were worth it. The pink beach is pink only near the water, and even then, if you adjust the saturation in the camera settings. The park with monitor lizards is gorgeous, the dragons are impressive, and the local rangers deftly know how to frame a shot and photograph visitors against the backdrop of majestic lizards. On the disappearing island, it seemed that there was nothing interesting for snorkeling, but then 2 small sharks swam past us, and then a sea turtle nibbled on seaweed a meter away from us! Then there were points with majestic manta rays and very, very beautiful corals and the underwater world! I highly recommend the excursion, but you need to take into account that some locations require physical training to go through them completely.
