Plan a visit to Kakegawa Kachouen Park on your Shizuoka free trip. It's convenient and cheaper to buy tickets on Klook before you go. After exiting JR Kakegawa Station, cross the road and walk straight along the road, passing under the bridge tunnel, and then across from the 7-Eleven to arrive. The journey is flat and takes about 15 minutes at a leisurely pace. At the ticket counter, give the QR code to the clerk to scan and exchange for a physical ticket to enter. Its exhibition area is rich and well-designed. If you like close contact with birds, a visit is recommended. There is an activity program schedule at the entrance. The outdoor performance is particularly special as it showcases the nature of the birds. You can reserve a penguin hug photo session. First, get a reservation card at the ticket counter (only 10 groups for the 11:10 AM session). Gather at the designated time to participate in the pre-shooting explanation (too much Japanese, I didn't understand). Pay 700 Japanese yen when taking the photo. They will help take photos with our own mobile phones. Then, follow the zookeeper's instructions to have the little penguin on your lap for photos. You can also gently stroke the penguin, which is a very special experience. The shop is also great for buying souvenirs. It is recommended to go around 9:00 AM when the park opens and spend about 2-3 hours there. On the way back, it will be noon, so I recommend dining at the soba noodle restaurant inside Kakegawa Station. Its tempura and tea soba noodles are really great! This attraction is suitable for the whole family and is worth a visit.
The Kakegawa Kachoen was a quite impressive place. You could feed different kinds of birds (with extra charges) in the park. There were also some bird shows which allows you to understand more about birds. It is highly recommended to visit this place if you would like to closely observe and interact with birds. Most importantly, it is worth seeing the endangered bird, shoebill, in the park.
Kakegawa Flower and Bird Garden is really busy. I went there last month but I want to go again. Kakegawa Station will arrive within 15 minutes. Go to the entrance and use the shopping confirmation to redeem the entry ticket. I think it is the same as penguins, owls, and eagles. Yingxiang, Zhongyou must participate in feeding the penguins, because it is really interesting and not expensive. You can use 500yen to buy 600yen coupons to participate in the above activities, because it was raining at that time, so there is no outdoor visit, I must go again next time, and finally the food in the Flower and Bird Garden is very delicious, beautiful and flat, and the check-in is first-class. As soon as we opened the door, we rushed over, played wild until the afternoon, and then continued to play. Even the boutiques in the souvenir shop near the cash register were so beautiful that we couldn't help but bleed. In the Flower and Bird Garden, the little birds are very cute and well-behaved. It’s good to go with Yan’s family. The children are very happy, and the big friends are very excited.
Kakegawa Flower and Bird Garden is just right, the sparrows are very enthusiastic and not afraid of people, the restaurant is flat and delicious, the souvenir shop is easy to shop, the penguin limited photo must be played, there are many kinds of birds, all of them can be used to take pictures with relatives Feeding, I am very proud of it. Big-mouthed birds, kinkai parrots, and peacocks are all good relatives and cute. Whether it rains or not, the location of the event is different. If you want to take pictures, you can take a sound, and when you are full, you have to rest It's worth it, ¥500 to buy ¥600 rolls is super value, I bought the left 4 sets, so hurry up and use it, haha
I think people who like birds will enjoy this place quite a bit. You can get very close to them, see them, feed them, and it's very therapeutic. The show times are also arranged so you can see everything if you follow the schedule, so it seems you can enjoy it all. You can't see everything in just 1-2 hours.
It was 10 times more fun than I expected! It was great to see rare birds from all over the world up close and to be able to feed them in various situations. It took about 2 hours to walk around the museum at a leisurely pace, but I think it was worth the price. I definitely recommend getting your tickets through Klook.
It was my first time visiting, and I had a lot of fun. More than anything, I was surprised by how close I could get to the birds; it was a little startling at first, but I gradually started to enjoy it as I fed them. I arrived a little after 9 am on a holiday, and there was a moderate number of people, but it gradually started to get crowded after about two hours. I think it's best to go in the morning if you want to participate in the bird show or other events. Futaba, the Shoebill stork, was hiding in her room, so I couldn't get a good look at her, but I was glad to catch a glimpse of her face. I think it's a place that both children and adults can enjoy, as long as you're not afraid of birds.
It’s so fun. I walked in as soon as the door opened and I didn’t want to leave. The parrots rushed over when they had food and left as soon as they finished eating. It was so realistic 😂😂. It takes some time to line up to take photos with the owls. You can touch them for a while. It’s so fun. happy. Lunch inside is great!
