I purchased the Hunter Package, and they usually contact you beforehand. I booked the lunch and archery/leather carving experience. The lunch was delicious, and archery left a very deep impression on the kids. We made a small leather bracelet during the carving, which made for a nice souvenir. We also enjoyed the Bunun tribe's eight-part harmony. I thought it was a great afternoon trip!
Very educational place, learn about the Bunun culture, there are 2 performances every day (1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon), the number of people exceeds 30 people to perform, learn about the Bunun festivals, hunting, celebrations and other rituals, use klook to buy hunter The package is much cheaper than the on-site ticket. You can enjoy meals (reservation is required by phone the day before), experience archery, make hot wax postcards, and make leather bracelets.
Experience the Bunun culture, the staff are very friendly, and the hand-dripped coffee is smooth and delicious. There are goats, rabbits, and chickens to see in the park. This time, we happened to see a Bunun theater performance, which was very moving. Their singing is really beautiful and inspiring. You can experience key chain or bracelet branding, postcard branding, and archery on site.
When visiting Taitung, I want to take my children to experience some different activities. The tickets include aboriginal-style meals, which are very cost-effective. The meals are all freshly prepared, very special and delicious! There are also some extra experiences inside, with several cute cats, for those who have no plans for other attractions, you can come here to play!
Taitung Bunun Tribe Leisure Park is well planned, the performances are great, the aboriginal food is delicious, and there are many local handmade artworks to buy. I highly recommend it~
Children love all kinds of experiences. We experienced leather carving, archery, fire sealing, and animal feeding. The eight-part chorus of the tribe was so heavenly. The meals were delicious and all were Bunun specialties.
The archery experience is explained in detail and the archery movements are also very professional. Making leather is also fun. A group of people knocking and knocking is very lively. The performance theater has a story... If you are interested, go and visit it yourself~
The archery experience is quite interesting, the eight-part harmony is quite touching, the food is not bad, but there are a lot of small black mosquitoes, so be careful to prevent mosquitoes, overall it is ok

Guide

  • Visit Taiwan's first and only aboriginal-themed leisure farm, Taitung Bunun Leisure Farm.
  • Experience the unique Bunun culture through leather carving and weaving DIY, and enjoy the beautiful eight-part harmony at the tribal theater.
  • Savor a tribal-flavored set meal and taste the wonderful flavors of natural organic cuisine.
  • If the number of people exceeds 10 but is less than 30, call to make a reservation for a small theater performance!

Bunun Tribe

The Bunun traditional rituals depict the past lifestyle of the Bunun people, where men hunted in the mountains and women wove at home. Among the rituals, the eight-part harmony is the most famous. The eight-part harmony performed is called "pasibutbut" in the Bunun language, which is a heaven-worshipping ceremony performed to pray for a bountiful millet harvest. Without a conductor or sheet music, the overtone and chromatic singing is breathtaking. In addition to the rituals, there are also several Bunun children's songs and original compositions, as well as simple aboriginal dance exchange teachings, allowing visitors not only to hear and see, but also to experience Bunun culture.
