Yilan National Center for Traditional Arts

The Yilan National Center for Traditional Arts is a paradise for all art, culture, and literature lovers, and an absolute must-visit attraction in Yilan.

The park has three buildings to visit, including Wenchang Temple, the former residence of Huang Zuan-xu (Yilan's first Juren), and Guangxiao Hall. All three have their unique characteristics and represent the local art and culture. Wenchang Temple, dedicated to the Five Saints of Wenchang, has long protected scholars and is regarded by locals as a sanctuary for literati. In addition, its hall also enshrines deities such as the ancestors of opera and craftsmanship, who hold extremely important significance for the inheritance of Yilan's traditional arts. In addition to the three buildings mentioned above, there are many other attractions to visit in the park.
