watch out for bumpy ride in case of windy weather, awesome view at stewart island but might be cloudy some of the time
Ferry back to South Island. Bluff, a small town by the sea, has more beautiful scenery than I imagined. I feel extremely honored to be able to leave my footprints here.
Ferries to New Zealand's third largest island. Compared with the rich tourism resources of the North and South Islands, Stewart Island seems more unpretentious. As a day-round traveler, it is a pity that I was not able to get a deeper understanding of this pristine island.
easy way to transport between bluff and stewart island the water was calm the day i took the ferry and check in was smooth, also booked the coach to invercargill airport
I had an efficient, smooth and lovely experience. I dropped my suitcase in the bin provided, memorised the bin number, checked in at the checkout by giving my name and that was it. I didn't need to go digging through my phone to find an electronic confirmation.
If you ride in bad weather, you can enjoy a thrill that is not inferior to that of a jet boat. It was fun. I was debating whether to take a plane or a ferry, but I think it was a good decision to take the ferry because the check-in process didn't take long.
Excellent ride back - no issues claiming the Klook tickets. There is a carpark which is tricky to find a spot in but we arrived about 1hr early and copper a spot. Carpark is outdoors
Back to Bluff, you can go to the nearest STARBUCKS that is the most ball and the south.
booking with Klook was a very easy, efficient and quick method. we got proper and timely notifications. Shall book again with Klook
Fantastic experience! I wasn’t very confident knowing how rough the water would be but it wasn’t too bad. No vomit!
